“Very nice little game store. Compact but filled with interesting games and gadgets. A must-stop if you've got kids, but there are plenty of things for adults to buy also. Very friendly proprietor.”

“One of the few children’s stores that I really enjoy. Their clothes are unique and high quality. Make it through for use for boy #2. Consistently end up being our most loved kiddo clothes”

“This place is awesome! Large selection and very reasonable prices. Multiple people have commented on the customer service (or lack thereof), but we found everyone friendly enough. Maybe this "issue" is about expectations....when we went in the store it was busy, some of the stuff was in disarray, and the store was a bit cramped--but we came to get deals!! Not pay a premium for service and spaciousness! We got brand name clothes in great condition for our kids at pretty unbelievable prices. In the Bay Area, where we are from, you can't find anything comparable to this--we will definitely be back.”

“Hubby and I decided to stop into this cute children's store just to browse and ended up purchasing 2 headbands! Their headbands are very comfortable and cute on, even for adults! Seriously if I could buy them out I would! ⁣Being a foodie, the trendy knotted headband with fruit is of course my favorite! It just screams summer and the pearls and studs add a fashionable touch! I love the colorful sparkly one too, but wish the sparkles didn't fall off after some uses. Pain is beauty tho, because even if it sticks to my hair, I am still wearing it lol! ⁣ ⁣⁣ Ruffles & Ruffnecks is one of Tahoe's oldest businesses that opened in 1973! This small woman-owned business is currently owned by Susan and is located in the Cobblestone Center! They have a wide selection of hair accessories, kids clothing, toys and gifts for all ages!⁣ ⁣⁣We're looking forward to returning to check out more of their store! “My friend Mr. Rogers once said, "Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play IS serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood." dropYou'll feel like you stepped back into the 1950s. I've never tried the candy from the candy bar. It looks really old, but I don't think candy spoils as it was never fresh in the first place. They also have some cheesy tourist souvenirs. But the real deal here, are the games. They may not have everything you're looking for, but they have enough. They have slingshots, most of the traditional games and some of the new ones. It usually crowded but worth it.”

“We love the tree house. They frequently have sales and have an amazing selection of See Kai Run shoes (our favorite!). They have all their shoes out on a rack and they wrote down the sizes the shoes are available in. Then the employee will go grab the corresponding shoe. So helpful especially with two toddlers! The workers have always been nice as well. The store can be a little overstimulating but it's easy enough to handle. As a local, I'll continue to frequent this business.”
