This used to be my go to gas station. I'd fill up every week on my way to work (long commute). Recently, like a number of other gas stations I refuse to give my money to, they changed how the air machine works and you have to call a phone number to have the machine turned on.
No. Just no. Its 2025. We were supposed to have flying cars by now. Not having to use my phone to turn on an air machine. This kind of stuff is anti-customer service and its meant to get dumb people to pay for something that should be free. Shame on 76 for doing this. I knew the shittier gas stations did but Im surprised 76 is trying to nickel and dime people now too. Ill go elsewhere.

Staff running the station are trying to implement a “take a number” system to get rid of hydrogen users lining up. This makes no sense, how are you supposed to know which number everyone else has, or which is next? I observed staff yelling at customers who were waiting in line rather than following this absurd system.

On September 11th I went to use the Hydrogen pump at the 76 gas station on 615 South Tustin Street in Orange. Upon entering the station i did not see any signs posted so I proceeded to wait. I had only been there about 2 minutes before this GUY/OWNER comes out speaking to me in a very rude tone saying I can't block the regular gas pumps. As i was trying to explain to him that I didnt see the sign, he starts yelling for me to move and wait in the HANDICAP section and I said no Im not doing that. The person at the pump was moving anyway and as I was telling him I'll just pull up because they were leaving, he kept yelling at me to just leave, keep in mind no one was waiting for gas. As he's having his temper tantrum, my friend who was on the phone didnt want to hang up because she felt like he was going to try something, she only felt that way because she could also tell by his tone that he was very very angry and his anger escalated very quickly. Needless to say, i should have never went to that station, it was my second time there, my very first time there I encountered another rude clerk. Of all the Hydrogen stations I've been to this one is the worst!! I only gave 1 star to post the review, otherwise they wouldn't even get that!!!!!

This place would not let me use their restroomSaying it was always out of order and the cashier handed the police the key and the police officer used the resttroom right after I had asked and made a purchase with food stamps.But what most people fail to realize is that a independent proprietor has the right to refuse service to anyone they want and that's what they did to me on more than several occasions
