“My go to place for fresh meats and veggies. Price is reasonable. Meat department will rub and season the steaks for free. So when you get home it’s perfectly flavored just for dinner. Their marinaded meat is the best way to make a quick dinner. Now they even serve boba tea with fresh made sushi. Really has something for everyone.”

“Thank you stater bros for the amazing cake for my son’s 1st birthday! It was beautifully and perfectly done! My only critique was the filling, I asked for berry compote and it tasted like jelly out of a jar not horrible! Just would’ve tasted better with it handmade. But the frosting, the cake, the decorations was perfect!”
“They are quick . Do not be in a hurry to turn around from the end of the street. First check in with them and ask how to back up. The parking yard in front of the building is also theirs so you can pull inside that yard and back straight up which is way easier. If that option is not available, be really careful while making a U-turn from the end as the cars parked would be a real pain and most probably you would have to find their owner and have one or two cars moved as there is no other way unless you can back up on a tight spot from blind side”
“Decent prices. & Unlike every Walmart staters has electric carts like at least 6! If a Walmart has any only ever have 1! If it's not broken or some entitled fat person using cause god forbid excersize. I use them due to being disabled. Not fat!”
“I am a Stater Bros customer for at least 30 yrs or more I love this SB on State College I have always been treated very well and have never had a problem with any of the employees . If I ever needed help with anything I was kindly helped. The only thing I noticed is that the young baggers need to be trained on what items to bag together keep cold items together not with canned items and don't put too many heavy items in one bag it s too heavy for an older person to carry if someone comes in with cooling bags don't put cans or non cold items in it. They just need to be trained that's all. I love all the cashiers and deli,bakery,produce employees too,some I know by name,thank you Tina,Alicia,Anthony, Dave,just to name a few and I have to say that the current store manager is great!!

“Always, a good, clean experience at this location of Stater Bros. The shelfs are always full and the employee's are very nice and knowledgeable. It's a very clean market and the butchers in the meat dept. are polite and funny also, they like to banter with you and can answer any meat related questions. They also make sure to open up more check-outs if there are lines. Prices aren't bad either. Parking is plentiful. And if needed they will assist any shopper with disabilities or
elderly people. This is so nice.”
“I usually just run in to a Stater Bros and grab what my friends say is my mandatory Road Chicken. This time I did real shopping for my new diet, lots of vegetables. I had awesome choices. Since some of this was a new type of shopping experience for me it was very nice that the staff was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful helpful. I will still get the fried croad trips. “I went a few times during the weekend to buy pan dulce which was decent, and this morning (Tuesday) I went before 8am and was shocked at how crowded it was. I initially was going for their tamales which I've tried before and they were dry and "just ok," enough to satisfy my craving but after seeing everyone in line for the hot food I stood in line as well. They sell tortas with frijoles (beans) with your choice of meat (carne asada, chorizo, chicharrón rojo and verde) i ordered the chicharrón rojo and OMG!! Delicious! I had the guy add salsa and jalapeños which was a mistake because the chicharrón rojo already has a nice kick to it so after my first bite I took out the jalapeños. The few times I went I didn't notice the hot food so not sure if it only sells during certain times. It gets packed in the mornings with people heading to work and the line can get long, I waited about 10 minutes not bad. With my torta and can soda it was $5.77! *Update* tortas sell in the morning until 8amThe reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 is because I saw the produce section and it was a bit gross, the carrots and lettuce looked old. I will be going back only because the convenient location and for their tortas!”

“I discovered this butcher shop not long ago, and ever since then, I only buy my pork belly here. The fat-to-meat ratio is perfect — not too greasy, just rich and flavorful. I grilled it on a grill I bought from Zion Market, let a bit of the fat render out, and it turned out unbelievably delicious. I couldn’t believe how good it tasted at home. The quality of the meat is always excellent. Highly recommend!”
