Always kind, and knowledgeable. Never had an issue, seems as though the other one starreviewers are unsophisticated

Of all the banks I have dealt with over the past 40 years, California Bank & Trust is without doubt the absolute worst. Everything about their process is about keeping you from accessing your funds - all in the name of "protection and security". During my most recent interaction (with Paula, a supervisor at the bank card center), I was told that the reason I could not have my daily spending limit increased to $5,000 from the normal $2,000, was due to "Patriot Act restrictions" and that they were trying to prevent "money laundering". When asked if she even understood or had specific knowledge of the Patriot Act, Paula responded "well, I know it has something to do with the Patriot Act". Really? This is a "supervisor"? All I'm trying to do is buy Angel tickets and they are concerned I am laundering money?! This bank is discriminatory and under-handed. They make up policy as they go along. After 17 years I cannot wait to switch banks and deal with real people. Who care.

Bad service from the teller Saria (I believe this is her name). Without greetings, no proper attitude to customer. I asked for a large amount of cash she doesn't ask me how do I want them. I gave her the note to remind how I want the cash she doesn't even say thank you. Please I'm doing the job for you! I don't know where her attitude to customer is coming from at all... I don't know if they offer proper training but the previous teller is definitely better than her.
