Used ti be my favorite until they banned ESA dogs for "not being service dogs". Now I will have to find something else. Too bad. Specially on seniors.

Not my favorite store especially the grumpy Female cashier that works the 6 AM shift. She was scolding me open late for asking for a bag after I bought my groceries. Wow, what a way to start today.

I hope someone trains Julio and Amanda on addressing customers concerns and offering quality CUSTOMER SERVICE. Both responses were impulsive and careless about the misleading price tags & new promotions.

I've been a customer at Staters Bros on Carmel Mountain Rd for close to three years. and always had such excellent customer service with Mr. Joe Bravo, he was the best which shows great leadership from top to bottom. I am sad to have found that he retired. The store will never be the same without him.

Your common grocery store in that regard. However, customer service here is nonexistent unfortunately. Especially in the meat/deli department. I would recommend getting groceries delivered over shopping there personally.

Rude cashier and terrible customer service. One of the worse interactions I've ever had.

Ran in here because I forgot one items T the store I just left. As I stood in line, I watched an u busy story become completely chaotic due to bad management. A manager was on the 15 and leas. He s*** it down just as I walked up with my one item in hand. I got into a line w one customer ahead. I watch the manager open another check stand two over. He helps 3 people. I'm still waiting. The kid on my line was having trouble w the computer. Manager continues to see the line grow behind me. Does nothing. Closes his stand and fiddles around. Finally, the kid calls him over and he reluctantly comes by and takes my items to the next stand behind him. Along with the person behind me. He saw I was pissed at how long this was taking. So he threw out a "have a nice rest of your day." As he checked me out with my one item. I will never be back. Ps the boxer was so nice and apologetic. Cuddos.

I asked for an ADVERTISED "Italiano" sandwich. Deli guy replied "We don't got no Cappacola, we don't got no Mortadella, ..." I threw up my hands in disgust and walked out. Does Ralphs or Vons do this? No

I was ignored for 8 minutes at the deli while 3 employees walked by one of which was just standing around until a lady finally came up just to tell me she didn't know how to make a sandwich... meat cheese mayo and bread. really? I feel like that's definitely something you don't have to be trained to do... why is it even on the menu then?

I'm a true Stater Brother shopper, at this location I know 95% of the staff by their first name. The manager Ken Avila is an excellent manager and person.

Came here on 1/8/2020 When checking out I was helped by a checker named Jocelyn. She didn't say hi to me, proceeded to check her watch, and stare into the distance thinking about god knows what. At the same time some other older lady came to talk to her about lunch. I understand if you're like, sad or hungry but you're working. I honestly don't care about your level of service as long as I get a simple "hello" which you failed at. I get better service at self checkout. If you're looking for service don't come to this location. She also said to to the next customer in line as I was leaving, which brings up questions as to why she did not greet me. Hmmm, there seems to be problems at this store.

I will confess, I mainly go here to use the ATM as it connects to my credit union, but then I do occasionally shop here for a few items. Overall, I the size and feel of this Stater Bros. is more like a neighborhood grocery store. They have most of what you're looking for, but in smaller quantities than larges stores. I've found you might have to hunt for what you're looking for because so many items are crammed into a smaller footprint. They lack a full bakery so all your pastries and donuts are pre-made, but I praise their meat department. Prices tend to be a few cents less expensive then other major chains and the meat (at least what I've purchased) has been top notch. The people are always friendly and the parking lot is fairly easy to get in and out of.

Every time I go to this location I am impressed with the customer service. Even during these difficult times, they seem to have everything in stock. If I have questions, the friendly man in the produce department answers them and even tells me when to expect new shipments. I wish other stores closer to me would be more like this one.

This store is the worst Stater Brothers I ever been attended. The butcher named Jesus was very rude and unprofessional. I approached him and asked him about price of the Rib eye steak and the difference pricing between bone in or not bone in. Before I even finished with my questions, he went ahead and asked a guy behind me what he wanted to buy without asking me if I need something else or if I was done. So he just skipped me entirely! I didn't confront him and walked away. Then I approached a man with stater bros' uniform and asked him if I could see the store manager. He told me that he is the manager but it's the produce manager. He went ahead and called his Store manager named Andy. He came to me and I told him the story about how his butcher named Jesus skipped me before I even finished asking him questions about the rib eye steak. So he told me to take him to the butcher and asked me which one. There was only one guy in there. Thus the store manager asked the butcher, Jesus if he served me and he was in a defensive mode and pointing his knife at me! I told him to STOP pointing his butcher knife at me. Then he put down his knife, but he continued defending himself instead of apologizing for his RUDE behavior and skipped me to serve another customer without asking if I was done!!! It doesn't seem to me the store manager really care about the seriousness of the situation. He was even trying to defend the butcher and telling me that he probably forgot to ask if I was done or need other helps before proceeding to another customer. Andy (store manager) should've apologized and acknowledged his employee's mistake instead of defending him! It's Terrible and unprofessional! I will not recommend anyone to shop in this store EVER! After reading the other reviews from other customers who had horrible experience like myself; I concluded that this Stater Brothers store located on Collins Ave in the city of Orange has failed miserably to satisfy their customers and tried to cover up their mistakes! I give this store two thumbs down!!! I will not ever step my feet in this store ever again!
