Amazing customer service and friendly environment. This shop is better than expected. I found wheels, trucks, & hardware to complete my board. I would love to go back for more & play the arcade machine.

Great experience. Had skateboard skin but needed wheels, bearings, and grip top. Was out door in less than 30 mins and educated, so my novice skater had a safe board for learning and enjoying the sport! Great customer service!

I am so grateful that Contenders exists! I came in looking to buy a skateboard for my partner for his birthday. I don't have a ton (if any) knowledge on skateboards. The two guys that helped me were super awesome, kind, patient and helpful. They helped me pick out literally everything. They gave me a lot of options and explained everything to me as we went. I love that they took the time to explain things to me and didn't rush me to make decisions. I was pretty nervous going into it since I didn't really know anything, but I left feeling really confident in my purchase and like I learned a little more about skateboards. I'll continue to come back to this shop. You can't go wrong with this place! Also, I just gave my partner his board and he loves it.

One person's trash is another's dream. Found the Bob Dob board poking out from under the trash bin at work. Took it to Contenders boardshop in Orange and Joey set it up for our adopted families 13 year old son! Added the stickers from the wheels snd hardware mfgs to my new used twice helmet and waalaa!

This is a rad shop. Class act top to bottom, the owner and all the employees are helpful and welcoming and always have your best interests in mind. They have been a driving force for getting a local skatepark built and guess what it's finally frickin happening - huge shout out to you guys, thanks for that!! They also sponsor the local kids sports organizations and seem to make it a point to be involved in the community which is awesome. Happy to support this place, long live Contenders!!

Went in today, but they didn't quite have what I was looking for...that's not why I'm dropping this review. I wanted to compliment these guys because the customer service was great, the products were great and the vibe was great. Like I said, they didn't have quite what I was looking for but they still wanted to point me to another shop in the area that might have what I needed which is something I didn't expect. I highly recommend this place
