I've been here in the past and had a good experience, sold a lot of clothes to them and found many gems that I still wear to this day However when I went this time to sell clothes, all of them were rejected. Don't be like me and park really close or else you will be hauling heavy bags back to and back. I understand not everything will be accepted and there is a style of clothes they go for depending on trends/season but the store does not reflect the clothes they buy at all. Like there's Naruto and demon slayer tshirts but they won't take my designer bag? lol I would argue I had some articles of clothing that fit the look they are curating but it was rejected anyway. And the clothes that didn't were very similar to many of the clothes in store. I get that a lot of the clothes in store must be unsold items that have been there for who knows how long but what I'm trying to say is they could be less strict about what they buy. Not to mention the selection this time was meh. I used to walk out with several things but this time I walked out with nothing but two heavy bags of my clothing, shoes and bags.

I have been a long time customer and supporter of Deelux, back when the shop first opened in downtown Santa Ana many years ago. I've been a customer and seller to this shop for years, and it pains me to write a review like this for a small business. I personally have ran two different Buffalo exchanges, a store with the exact same business model as deelux. And the treatment I've received at deelux over the last year has been so sad to see from the buisness. Unless you're a 20 something, trendy dressing, put together person, they will not even look at your items. I had selectively curated my buy, understanding I have a general idea of buying needs and what would qualify as good pieces to bring in. From the very second I walked in the door, I was laughed at and belittled by the staff. The chick with the orange hair and glasses is the worst, she looked me up and down and walked away as I approached the buying counter with extremely full hands. Someone saw I was struggling and came to help, shoutout the kid with the glasses and mustache (he's always super sweet and others should follow suit). Understanding I understand the buying process, I don't sweat it if they don't take a few things. The chick didn't even bother to open my bag, and call me over not even five minutes after entering the store, I timed it. They return my bags to me in the exact same position I left them on the counter, untouched. I ask politely why they decided to not even look at the times and I just get the normal speak they throw at you when they don't want to buy anything from you. I understand that not every buy is going to be a winner, but I had brand new, designer (stussy and Maison margiela) that were sitting at the bottom of the bag, untouched, that usually, deelux buys in a heart beat. From the second I walked in the store, I felt belittled and lesser than for selling my clothes. The girls at the front judged me from the second I walked in, deemed what I had not even worthy of going through, and placated me when I tried to understand why they decided to not take any of the stuff they would've gone crazy for about a week ago. The whole interaction felt frankly a little discriminatory. Just because I didn't look like a person that would bring anything quality in, they didn't even bother to go through my stuff. and I know that's a sweeping assumption to make, but after selling there for a number of years with positive buying experiences and being treated this way, I can't help but denote it to anything else. I sell here pretty often and have not been treated this way by any of your other staff (shoutout Mikey, he's awesome and a great representative employee). I don't care if they take ANY of my stuff at the end of the day, like I said, I've worked the buying counters and I understand what it takes to be a good buyer both for the customers and the store needs, but the counter service, "better than" attitude, and the blatant discrimination enacted by whos representing your shop at the front has made me literally never want to step foot in your doors again. Sad, but you lost a customer of 8+ years.

They're okay. More like a second hand store than anything as I've seen a lot of fast fashion here. These couple of weeks I haven't really seen them get that many new clothes. Items range $10-20 which I don't feel like is worth it considering that they have a lot of thin fast fashion, esp in the women's shirts. Some of it is great don't get me wrong but it's like once in a while really. Their trade in program is pretty solid. Overrall a much better shop compared to the modern boutiques in the Orange Circle for price and quality.

I've been coming here for 4 years and I've finally (sort of) figured it out. If you don't have anything that the young, artsy bunch of Chapman students would wear, they will not buy from you. If you have anything too nice or new, it won't be bought. Currently ratty y2k clothes and outfits reminiscent of Little House on the Prairie are in style, so if you don't have stuff like that, don't bother. Prices aren't too bad for what you get, but obviously some things are VASTLY overpriced. I don't think I've ever scored a true "deal" here. However, they fluctuate. Sometimes there are patches where they have a great selection of clothing and will buy most of the items you bring in, but other times their stock is depleted or just not desirable. There have been times where my expensive or nicer clothing items were passed on simply because they were not in style or in season. Nevertheless, I will probably continue to come here. The staff is fairly friendly and sometimes I find an amazing piece. I definitely have some great pieces from this store that I love. Just be aware that your experience will probably change each time you visit.

Been here plenty of times and I've had nothing but great experiences, lately not so much. All because of the same people in every 1 star review, the skinny white girl with red/orange hair who acts like a snob and thinks she knows fashion working at a second hand store and the little kid with the pencil mustache cubby face and glasses. Every bad experience has been when they work and today was it. They took 5 items and offered $20 for everything, that was way less than what I paid for one item. I took the money and left because I'm tired of this store that shows no signs of an ADULT working here. Being mismanaged by kids who think they know fashion dressed like my 3 year old niece. Save your gas and time sell your things on offerup, FB market or anywhere else adults are present.

don’t try to sell your clothes here. I brought in 40 items all in season and the worker looked at it for 5 minutes and didn’t take a single item. very ridiculous and the workers were not helpful or nice

One of my favorite places for secondhand clothing/thrifting! You may find a few cheap items here, but most clothing tends to still be pricey (i.e., $18-25 for tees) compared to actual thrift stores. They usually have a huge selections of graphic tees, jackets, pants, denim, and even shoes.

Great resale shop. Very friendly staff even when rejecting much of your clothes. They have to be picky as they have so little space. My daughter loves the place and always finds things.

This place is alright. You'll find some gems every now and then but nothing special. The cow workers are meh...just a bunch of 20 years old trying to be trendy. Selling clothescan be a hit or miss, they definitely don't know what they're looking at most of the time but it's okay cause they're a cool and trendy place right ?? They're better places around.

I have been selling to Deelux in Orange since they had a shop in Santa Ana once a week. It helps supplement my income. I am a vintage clothing collector and my daughter is a model so she gets great freebies from popular designers. Sometimes the fit is wrong and she passes it to me. Lucky for Deelux they get it passed to them! I do wish there was an incentive plan for people that feed their business , so we all win! I love the vibe of this store and want to shout out Daniel! He is super professional and kind. He gets the neat things I bring by and makes me glad I stop by weekly. Your shop is only as good as your last buy. I appreciate his expertise and customer service, he is an asset to this business. I do appreciate this business and the family feel to it. The only thing I wish is that they would have plus sizes for more size range. Not everyone is a size XS ! Besides we live in the age of inclusivity. Go check out Deelux in Orange I don't think you'll be sorry, go see Daniel and see why he is my favorite Deelux sales member!

I had to drop off the vintage clothing that I had so it could be looked for their consignment for resale. It was quite a drive. On their website they don't tell you by appointment only. Anyways they turned everything away. I wasn't impressed at all with this establishment. All their second hand clothes are all way over priced.

Deelux is my all-time favorite place to sell whenever I'm short on cash. Their employees are friendly and the store has great finds.
