I am a little unfamiliar with my dj equipment. Daniel took his time helping me resolve an issue with my controller, picking out speakers, and even making a return about a month later. Spencer helped me out very quickly with finding a male XLR cable for my speaker. I had a gig I had to get to in under 2 hrs and my current one stopped working. He was cognizant of my time frame and rung me up quickly while being friendly. Service is everything in such a disconnected world and he really stepped in. Thank you so much!

Called to ask if they had a product. Called on 2 occasions, phone rang for 5 mins before I disconnected. I never spoke to anyone. Taking my business elsewhere.

"thank you for that." Who: Daniel - Customer service manager What: Customer service manager banged my guitar against the kiosk and did not apologize and I then decided to not sell because of the lack of professionalism and attitude. I want to add that GC is my go to for all of my gear needs. I have bought guitars, basses, synths. I have sold guitars and many gear in hopes the gear gets into the right hands. As I do buy used gear. I am not sure what has happened to the customer service at GC. All I can say is that, I felt like I was being helped by ignorant teenaged retail associates hanging out the kiosk of a hot topic, Than, the trained luthiers and experienced sound engineers/designers that I have come to know well at guitar center. This situation is sad, and it has put a sour taste in my mouth. I am, truly disguested at the fact that this Daniel, was an actual "Customer Service Manager". My dad's old Fender Bass needed some work. I took it here and said 'no rush'. Got an email about 2 weeks later, and it was all fixed up. When I picked it up, I was amazed. It looked almost new.

Chloe and Ana went above and beyond for me. April 4th: I go to buy a slaptop cajon and Chloe assists me. She is very friendly and helpful when the store doesn't have any new ones in stock (the only one in stock was the display, and it is kind of banged up). She orders one for me from a different store. April 8th: My order is ready and I wait at the curbside. An employee brings it to my car. I'm ecstatic. I go home and open it hours later. AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW? SHERMAN OAKS DECIDES TO SEND ME THEIR HORRIBLY-DAMAGED DISPLAY, DUST, SCRATCHES, AND STRAIGHT-UP BROKEN (pictures included). I'm outraged. This is terrible. The display at the Orange Guitar Center was in MUCH better condition than this pile of wood. I call this in. The unnamed employee says to bring it back in. April 9th: I go in, ready to throw some verbal hands. Chloe is there and she remembers me. She is appalled and what Sherman Oaks sent me. (TURNS OUT, THIS IS ALL SHERMAN OAK'S FAULT.) Ana is there, too, looking incredulous. They do everything they can to make it right and apologize 3893485 times. I know they're super apologetic, and it's not even their fault. I love them for trying to make things right. In the end, I got the color I wanted (which wasn't on sale), for a discounted price. Free shipping to my house directly from their warehouse, so we know it's not going to be damaged. April 12th: My beautiful slaptop cajon arrives to my house, undamaged and in perfect condition. And the color is more beautiful than the damaged one I had received. I am happy. tldr; Chloe and Ana are rockstars. Sherman Oaks Guitar Center is no bueno.

You know that game called "never have I ever" or something like that? Well, never have I ever stepped foot into a guitar center before lol This was a first time for me. And I didn't know what to expect. I don't play any instruments. My boyfriend on the other hand, does apparently? lol I guess he has a guitar somewhere, that I've never seen or heard him play lolol My boyfriend wanted to grab new stings for his guitar. We walked around looking at all the musical instruments and eventually found the stings he was wanting. This store is so big! Like they have a ton of guitars on the wall!!! It is a nice way to display them. It looks pretty cool. I saw a couple that had an awesome color scheme. Anyway, we got what we needed and jammed. (pun intended lol)

Fifth time I visit this guitar center and not a single left-handed guitar. Neither acoustic or electric. Shame on this store for lack of leadership. Whomever runs this particular GC ought to work somewhere else

I came in strictly for gift cards. It was my first time inside the store. It looks pretty dated inside. However, it was neat listening to customers testing out the instruments while I waited in line. They seem to have an extensive inventory. I only noticed 2 employees. They were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.

So few people are staffed for the Orange store (and Glendora store) that they don't believe in answering the phone. Kinda sad because I usually just want to see if something is in stock before I waste my time and gas driving, but they will never answer. Brea store answers the phone at least. Once you get to a store, good luck finding what you need, then walking around to find a cashier. Gosh, Sam Ash is much better.
