Mike is an incredible mechanic with an expertise in machine work. Ive been going to Mike for years for all the repairs on my car and could not recommend him enough.

mike looked at my truck said no problem to fix. I gave him cash per his request in the estimated amount to fix my truck. he left and never came back no money no parts no mike. and he won't answer my phone calls. i know what I call it. what you call it might be different. so no I can't recommend mike and j&n automotive for anything. sorry to say

Currently still waiting to receive parts I left to get rebuilt from MONTHS ago ..I'll give an update IF and when parts received if ever . Vehicle is apart waiting for these parts and has collected so many city citation tickets I have no choice but to lose the vehicle or pay to get it repaired since I can't even get my parts back from him . I am calling him everyday at this point I don't expect to get my deposit back I'd settle to get my heads back that I tried porting .. if there still there ... And I'd just use them as a core to buy O'Reilly or autozone heads . At a loss for words , time , money , and parts . The city is on me to move vehicle that can't move. . . Just want my parts back please ASAP.

They were super kind and sweet but i had them do a pre-purchase inspection on my car. They gave me the all clear so i went ahead and bought the car. The next day, the car had a failed intake valve that i had to get replaced immediately (very expensive). this could've been better caught if they had taken more care to check my engine instead of just running codes since my mechanic said there was evidence of a botched patch up that the previous owners tried to do. My carfax was clear so clearly something happened in between :/

I have brought many cars and trucks to Mike for repair and he is awesome! I bring him all my oil changes, he makes sure everything is okay and in shape. Brake jobs are super fast with him. I had one of my cars with a cooling leak, he pin pointed the problem and had my wife back on the road in no time. I highly recommend him as a mechanic.

I brought a SBF to Mike to go through and hone and deck the block to fit my pistons as well as balance my rotating assembly. I also brought him a set of aluminum Ford Racing heads he was going to go through and do a valve job on, as well as check the valve springs. I initially brought my engine to him in 2015 and changed my mind once along the way (in 2016 I changed my mind from a 306 to a 347 stroker instead and subsequently provided Mike with a new rotating assembly and flexplate). It is now 2018 and I have yet to hear back from Mike. I have driven by his shop and called repetitively but cannot get a hold of him. He has picked up the phone a couple times but always has an excuse on how my parts are inaccessible and I need to call back later. I am getting sick of waiting and am considering small claims court. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere.
