Plaza Park, also known as The Circle or Orange Plaza, is a tiny, circular public park in the heart of the historic Plaza District in Orange, California. It is the centerpiece of downtown, creating a roundabout in an authentic Americana setting. The park is most commonly recognized by its epic, over-100-year-old fountain in the center, which is a registered historical landmark with artisan mosaic tiles and a dynamic water show. The fountain has been recently restored after damage. The circular park has many kinds of trees that create an incredible, idyllic setting with different kinds of shade and sunlight, making it look like an outdoor cathedral. It is a beautiful, serene, and very pleasant place that is wonderful for picnics, with several large grass areas, benches, and gazebos. People come to kick back, enjoy the City of Orange vibe, read solo, have a picnic, and let children safely run on the soft grass. It is a great meetup spot and is very friendly for all pets and dog walking. The park is bustling with activity and atmosphere, surrounded on all sides by great restaurants, eateries, and funky shops. It is a joyful place to walk around, often filled with laughs and smiles, and is especially recommended during the Christmas season. The park does not have a playground or public restrooms.
People come to this tiny park circle with their kids, to picnic, and read solo. Very pleasant. There are park benches and funky shops around.
