Sears is not what it once was it is a nightmare trying to get your appliance replaced with their sears protection plan do not buy an appliance from them you will regret it if your appliance breaks down buyer beware

Sears is unbelievably awful. They did not arrive when scheduled but posted the oven as delivered! Then we had to reschedule delivery and once again they didn't show up! Then we asked for a refund and have been waiting 2 weeks for the refund to post. We have been guaranteed call backs twice and no call backs. Impossible customer service. Stay away and let this company die!

This store in Orange is closing down for good. There is a sign saying so and what ever is left is all marked down!

I've not been at Sears for a while there was a reason, I stopped at the orange mall location!! I decided to buy a shirt and a pans!! The sing was a bit confusing! It said if is this price but you pay whatever! When at the register the woman that was that cashier told me different price then stated on the rack! I said if is expensive then what it said!! So I told her I won't take it !! As she reply literally "know how to read" for her to be customer service and told me that totally unprofessional no wonder Sears is going down just in case you need to know who that person was this is the number of my receipt 013785318952

My experience on 1/6/20 at about 12:10 p.m. The old, white man w/ glasses who is a cashier at the appliance section is EXTREMELY RUDE!! He does not speak ONE WORD TO YOU!! He does not even bother to tell you YOUR TOTAL!!! He basically acts like he is charging a brick wall; no greeting, no thank you, no eye contact, and I repeat NOT ONE WORD TO THE CUSTOMER!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY HERE!! That old, white man is a very, very, poor and pathetic representation of Sears. If he does not like interacting with customers then why is he even working there as a cashier?! I will never come back here!

not enough staff in the proper departments, all departments are very low in inventory and not enough options. Staff person that helped did not wear mask correctly and did not know how to manage his customers.

Sorry to see the Village Mall Sears go down as it has but being a Life time Sears customer I have always bought our appliances at Sears & my woman apparel & they are good quality

I used to live on the East Coast before having to move back to California because of the pandemic, and losing my job. They had plenty of Sears where I previously lived and I’ve NEVER seen a store as depressing as this one. I’ve never dealt with an unhappier store associate as I did the other day. Now I see why Sears is going out of business. Now I see why people complain about the customer service. It’s not just the company, it’s the people they hire too. That’s too bad. Don’t expect me to shop here EVER again. Hope they just close the rest of the Sears down and they just go history!

I went to buy tools and all I can say is it is so sad to see the store in the condition. while in the tools department I notice one other older Hispanic man in the department next I hear security cameras to tools. Ready, every thing has magnet locks and theirs is no one to help. and then they close most of the gates on the doors before they close I am sure this is a fire code violation. Then I go to check out and their is a gentleman that has a problem with I think he is paying a large bill and it took like 7 minutes. and their are 4 employees in the other departments watching the tool department because of the security call. No one comes to help I was in retail management for 35 years and I can clearly see why this store is going down hill. This company was the best of the best at one time. And it is the upper management is to blame for it demise, I guess the lower management is trying to finish the job. Sad

I came here on Nov. 2 to return a shoe I bought online. It was from a third party so they said I couldn't return it in the store. Totally understandable IF they had been nice about it or explained it better. Instead, all the workers, including the lady manager were extremely RUDE. She basically said we can't do it here and showed us to the door saying they're closed and to get out. No wonder all the Sears are shutting down... maybe they treat their employees poorly and they're taking it on the customers.. who knows. But I definitely won't miss them if they shut down this store as well. At least have some basic customer service skills if you're in the customer service industry.

Sad. Nothing like it used to be. Went to check on a counter top microwave. Really nothing on the shelves and nothing in the warehouse. Understand it is difficult to get any appliances right now but sad to see what it has become.

Trying my best to help Sears in this year while work for me is difficult as well.My family's refrigerator died on September 13th and I ordered a refrigerator for in store pick up from Sears of Orange, i made sure to choose a model that was in stock for the rush of need, made the purchase and received a email that it would not be available for pick up until 9/18, we decided we could live out of a ice chest for 4 days so not the worst news, on 9/18 we were told another week to 9/25, then on 9/25 we were told October 5th but to contact Orange store on 10/4 to make sure it will be at store on 10/5, numerous calls made to store today and messages left as well, finally decided to call the 1-800 Sears # for some regional help and they said sure stay on hold we will get them and connect you both for answers, they were not able to get ahold of anyone either.We are on a budget like everyone else and can't afford to buy another refrigerator while Sears has my paid for refrigerator.Closing in on a entire month for a item that was in stock, an absolutely unprofessional experience with Sears and no communication from the store at all!
