I've made some great friends through Spellhold Games, both staff and other players. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and the shop has lots of room to play. This is a great shop for legacy players, Tuesdays are poppin. They have MTG, Pokemon, Flesh and Blood, Disney Lorcana and One Piece. They have a ton of snacks and drinks as well. The restrooms are by key only so you don't have to worry about messy public restrooms. Would recommend!

Huge magic and lorcana community, owner is connected to the community and cares about his customers first and foremost. Has a very competitive scene for modern and legacy but super welcoming. Every time I'm in the area I come play modern or legacy or compete in a rcq.

One of the best shops for MTG. Has a great Legacy scene and always giving good prices on cards. Been coming here for over a year now and have only had good times with the players and store.

This place has some of the fastest service I have ever experienced. I'll put a large order in and within minutes my order is fulfilled. The staff is also very friendly and they keep a wide variety of snacks. Their events run very smooth and have a huge array of card games, products, and accessories. Great OC shop.

I've visited this place twice for two pre-releases, and both events were well-organized. The staff at the counter were always knowledgeable and helpful. Additionally, the owner was pleasant to speak with and encouraged me to join and play MTG with the friendly community.

This place has a lot of seating if you want to do freeplay. Different formats of MTG events happen on different nights.The staff here is why I prefer going other places though. They aren’t very helpful and most of them won’t really greet you when you go up to their counter.

One of the guys sitting at the front desk doesn't know how to talk to people. Most card shops leave a box of cheap/unsorted cards to look through on the front desk, and when I reached to look through, he looked incredibly annoyed and said "Can you not?" without making eye contact.I paused, not knowing he was speaking to me, and he rudely repeated "Don't touch that" this time making eye contact. "This is inventory," he says loudly while returning to whatever he was doing. He could have just said, "Sorry, this is inventory," making eye contact to clearly convey the message, but instead he just seemed annoyed to be working and having to talk to someone.I told him that maybe he shouldn't leave unmarked inventory on the front desk, and he ignored my comment as would be expected from his lack of communication skills. Won't be coming back here, go to Card Addiction or Cardgame Colloseum instead, they're only 10 minutes away. Card addiction in particular has great customer service!
