Stater Bros. Markets, founded in 1936 in Yucaipa, California, has grown into a well-known grocery chain with 172 locations across Southern California. The store is appreciated for offering a good balance of price and product, with a wide selection of fresh produce, meats, seafood, wine, and groceries. Customers often mention that the store is clean, well-stocked, and provides friendly customer service, making it a popular choice for shopping. The produce, fruits, and side dishes are consistently praised, and the deli offers sliced meats and cheeses from Boarshead, which many find appealing. The seafood and meat sections display a decent variety and look fresh, with fair prices relative to quality. Staff members are attentive, frequently offering assistance even to casual browsers, adding to a positive shopping experience. While some reviews note that meat quality and prices have declined slightly over time, overall, shoppers consider Stater Bros. to be the best grocery store in the area, especially given their lower prices compared to competitors. The store's atmosphere is generally positive, and employees are described as friendly and hardworking, with management recognized for going above and beyond. The sushi section is also noted for its fresh and attractive presentation. However, the busy location on Chapman & Prospect can make parking and entry challenging during peak hours. Despite this, many customers prefer shopping at Stater Bros. for its good selection, quality, and value.

Every experience I have had both online and in the store has been so positive and I am blown away at the service. I really feel that everyone goes the extra... read full comment

In my opinion Stater Bros has one of the best deli sections. The brand they use is Premium Cornwrahop. Turkey breast thinly sliced is only $13.99 a pound and I pair that with Pepperjack cheese for $10.99 per pound. This grocery store has it all.
