“Jumbo Dollar has really improved under the new owner. The store feels a lot more organized and the variety of products is much better than before. You’ll find a mix of affordable everyday items along with some higher-end products that give more options depending on what you’re looking for. I’ve noticed prices on essentials like detergents and bags have recently gone down, which makes it a great stop for regular shopping. At the same time, they’ve added new items that stand out from the usual dollar store selection. Overall, it feels like the new management is putting real effort into making the store better for customers. Worth checking out if you haven’t been in for a while!”

“Five below is a store of variety, It has a good candy section offering a wide variety new and older bands. They have a toys section mainly educational activities such as science related with fun games you don’t see in most stores. The women makeup section is very full with most all types of makeup. “Five Below is right next to Northgate Market. We've never been to a store where everything is marked under $5. There are actually some interesting finds here. They have toys, art supplies, Funkos, Mini Food Brands, Squishmellows, board games, beauty products, bags, clothing, just like a 99 cents or Daiso. But everything is just a little bit more upscale due to the $5 price mark. There are products that's over $5 but that's in the electronics section ... something the other discount stores generally don't have.I actually found a few items for under $5 that I normally see for $10 elsewhere. It really is a cool treasure trove of goodies.This store's concept is quite unique and the service was very friendly. I almost walked out with a hoola hoop because I was carrying it on my shoulders. The store clerk quickly helped me use another register to check out so I didn't have to restart my initial transaction. I would definitely return to this store.”

There is a big parking lot so plenty of parking. They do have self checkout and if there issue, the staff will come and help. Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
