Whenever her birthday month arrives my mom asks for a gift in the form of a pedicure. I found this local Orangevale business on Yelp and made an appointment for a mommy and me pedicure! After looking through their festive polishes, I chose DND Starry Night #781. What a beautiful gold shimmering gel color, just in time for Thanksgiving this month! I was really happy with my nail technician Polly, she took her time, great conversation, my nails were filed and trimmed nicely, clean, hot towel, massage and the paint was evenly distributed! My mom was also very happy with her birthday pedicure, a dark pink with glitter! Both of our technicians have been doing nails for 30 years and the name fits because our nails turned out perfectly! I am only subtracting a star, because they didn't go over prices or services beforehand and I was a bit stunned my basic gel pedicure was $50 alone and I'm used to paying less elsewhere.
