“We had an emergency with our elderly labrador retriever on Christmas Eve and a new diagnosis of (GOLPP) -Geriatric Onset Laryngeal Paralysis and Polyneuropathy. This hospital was the best. Everyone was compassionate, kind, caring and excellent. I think human hospitals could learn from them. Our dog, who was in serious respiratory crisis, did well, and he had surgery a couple weeks later with their surgeon. This too, went so well, and our dog's quality of life has vastly improved. I may forget some names because there were many people involved in his care. I want to most thank the person at the front desk, she handled every patient and every family of each pet with kindness and compassion. Christmas Eve was busy with emergency after emergency coming in. Many tears and everyone was treated with such respect. Some names I wrote down were Kimberly and Melody to thank. Also Dr. Funk and Dr. Yang were fantastic, incredibly competent and took the time to explain things well. I especially appreciated being able to come back and see him before we left on Christmas Eve. I saw them so carefully following human hospital standards for giving medications. I was so happy when we could take him home. I also want to than his surgeon Dr.Terhaar who explained everything so patiently and did such fantastic work, I know there are never guarantees, but this surgery went so well and had such great results for our beloved labrador. Thank you all.”

“I take my senior Chiweenie here, and have had no issues.
I know for a fact that many people take their seniors there because one day I was in for a skin issue and I looked around the lobby and there was old dogs all around. Heck, we all talked and realized all our pups were 13-15 years old.
I am assuming, and I’m my case, stating, that if you have a senior pet, you can trust all valley took good care of them.
My favorite thing about AVPH, besides the tender care my pup receives, is the affordability. I’ve been to many different vets throughout my dogs life, and they have been the cheapest/most reasonable by a wide margin.”

“Had a wonderful experience. Went to the open house recently. The staff and volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable. I only went to the cat area. Loved the cat rooms and it was very clean. I adopted a very sweet 6 month old cat. She is adjusting well to her new home. Very sweet cat.”

I wish I had found this doctor 3 yrs ago. When my Eddie's Doctor comes in he actually talks to me and my pets. Doctor Thession is just so loving. He really loves his job and our pets. NO RETURN CALLS, NOTHING CALLED IN TO OTHER DRUG STORES AND THEY SAY THEY HAVE DONE IT!!@ I AM CHANGING VETS. ALL THEY EED TO DO IS RETURN CALLS AND FILL MEDS WHEN YOUR PET NEEDS IT.”
