About Orinda Library - Contra Costa County Library
The Orinda Library is a clean, quiet, and well-maintained library. It is big inside, well organized, and feels like a library in a university. The staff are extremely helpful and super helpful for any questions. It offers many books, plus a selection of DVDs, audio books, and magazines. There are multiple computers and self-check stations. For children, there is a weekly story time and a restroom inside. The entrance is on the second floor, accessible by elevator. Parking includes a parking garage, described as luxurious and indoor, with outside spaces also available, though it can be a little difficult at certain times. The library has a great location next to a cafe, a park, and tennis courts.
Stopped here when coming back from SF. The entrance is on the second floor. The exterior design of the library is really interesting, it feels like a library in a university. There is also the most luxurious garage I have ever seen (the first time I have seen an indoor parking space in a library).

All the employees were absolutely great ! It was mines and kids first ever visiting, will be coming back ! Very beautiful

A nice quiet library in Orinda. Every Thursday there is a Food Truck event 5pm-9pm. What I like about Orinda is that there is a cafe below and tennis court. Plenty of parking outside or the parking garage.Inside the library is quiet. It is big inside and pretty maintained.
