I have been doing taxes since 2013. I have never had a tax pro that is absolutely phenomenal like Alysia Meredith is. She is located in the Oroville and Chico California offices. She goes above and beyond every single time. She makes sure that she is getting the maximum for your return. She is extremely knowledgeable also, she can break down any information that you need to know so you exactly know what is going on. She is extremely fast with her work and never misses a beat! Never makes any mistakes nor do I ever have any issues when she is handling my taxes. This is the girl you want handling your stuff! She does it with care and is so empathetic and compassionate. I look forward to talking to her every tax season now. 5/5 10/10 100/100 recommend her! You will never be disappointed! Thank you for everything you do for me and my family Alysia! We appreciate you so so much!

Very rude people here. The one in Yuba City is very friendly compared to this place. I am not sure of her name but it starts with a A, Aliyasn or something, blonde thin lady...very rude to my mother when we just asked for advice, wouldn't help whatsoever unless she got paid, the Yuba City one helps people no matter what especially for free! Mom will not return to this business for anything!!

If giving zero stars was an option than that is what I would do. This place charges an arm and a leg. I left feeling as though they looked down on me. I asked question which they were never able to answer.i will never go back and I would highly recommend that no one uses this price gouging company of careless individuals. Felt dihumaninzing, the people that work there have no right working with the public. The people that work at Wal-mart have better people skills.

I do my own taxes religiously for the past 10 years. I wanted to try and get a refund advance this year so I decided to try H&R block. Now we have used them in the past and it was a great experience but this year was horrible. I specifically told them I was only paying hundreds of dollars in fees to be able to get the refund advance. She said that was fine and we figured everything out and were good to go. Or so I thought. It literally says on the website that you have to use the emerald card or a prepaid account they set up to get the refund advance. I was told that wasn't true and I could do direct deposit into my own account and it would be fine. I trusted the professional to know what she was talking about right. So then we approve everything and she filed the return. It was rejected 6 different times because she couldn't get my kids information correct even after I specifically told her she had their birthdays backwards. I emailed her only to be ignored. I called her only to never have my call returned. She went on freaking vacation for 5 days knowing she left my taxes rejected. It took a manager to fix it and for it to finally be accepted. So after all of the waiting I call today to see why I still haven't heard about the refund advance after the irs finally accepted my taxes only to be told that because I chose direct deposit I won't be getting the refund advance. I specifically asked this woman if I needed to use the emerald card or the prepaid account and she guaranteed me doing direct deposit would be fine. She either lied purposely or she doesn't know what she's doing! Either way it was such a frustrating experience with them this year and I definitely will not be using the same agent IF we decide to return next year.
