Very unhappy with cashier Chantal who refused to let us checkout saying there is a line at self service and does not need to help because we don't have an emergency. Even though she helped a different customer and we were in her line she still directed us to go to customer service. Very inappropriate for them to refuse her service

Went to Walmart in Oroville, CA today. AGAIN no motorized card available for disabled people! This happens almost every time I go there! So frustrating!!!

Horrible. Yet another business treating everyone, including our veterans, like the worst of the worst who come into the store.This means that management and higher are not smart enough to figure out a way to service the customer, who spends their money in their store, paying for their existence, in a way that customers should be treated.The only way to send a message to them is to stop buying from them.

The key to going to Walmart in Oroville is to go early to avoid the crowds! It is centrally located off of Oro Dam Blvd.I went there this morning to get their salmon with pesto and lobster tails. They ate securely packaged and great to put it in the freezer for later (alot cheaper than the meat market in Grass Valley).There have a large selection of gardening items as well..at good prices.I always get the soft pretzel on my way the door at their indoor subway inside Walmart.I like that they have competitive prices on catfood. Where I live there is no Walmart nearby. They also have good prices on beer and wine and hard alcohol.I like that I see Security walking around this morning.. You can definitely get a good cardio walking around this huge place!I also like to use their app to have them deliver food for a minimum charge. You can also order and have them deliver to your car!It's relatively clean for this area.Again...go early if you want to avoid the long lines! Ps. They have several scan and go ateas..just can't purchase alcohol in that area.

I waited for 30 minutes for customer service and even went and asked for someone to be paged to the department I needed assistance in to no avail. I even called while in the store and after 5 minutes they answered and hung up. Nobody can help or is willing too. You even have to check yourself out. The worst store I've ever been to in my life. How and why they get paid I have no idea. Just to walk around apparently and do nothing. Do not recommend at all.

Store well kept forts also greets at the wheel. Coming aisles are cleaned bathroom are cleaned visor We drive is great displays are safe we'll kept shelve full greets while coming thank you for the experience

Most of their smaller items are now locked up...understandably so. There are a lot of homeless people and thieves that like to steal from there so I get it. But when you try to find an employee to help assist you, you'll almost never find any because they're in the back or on a smoke break. And when you do find one they'll give you an attitude. I used to go in and get out less than 10 mins. Now if I'm lucky it'll be an hour just for 2 small item. Not even exaggerating. Let's not even start on the wait at the checkout line after wasting time hunting down the key masters. Shopping experience here has been getting worse and worse.

I had no cart ,tried to walk to shop, but to much pain. James partridge who works for Walmart seen me setting waiting for a cart he ended up finding one. I had surgery and still not ok. What he did ment the world to me , it was all I could do to try to shop tonight. He's a hero to me because two others said they couldn't help. Thank you James partridge your a good man.

Most of the personal care items (body wash, face wash...) are locked up. Finally found someone to unlock the case, then it was put in another lockbox, so I could not use self checkout. One lane open, in line 20 minutes and the line never moved. Left without my purchase. Later I attempted to place an online order to pick up, order was cancelled by the store citing "unusual activity " What? In this town there are limited shopping options, so I guess I have to go back, or drive to Chico.

I was inthere today. I was in line for 25 min. Awful. 2 checkers and they had no bags again. This is the worst Walmart I have ever been in. ive Never been in there where there were more than 2 checkers. Yes there is the self checkout but for me just finishing 16 chemo treatments has left me weak and unable to shop bag groceries carry into house by myself. My husband died in sept.

This is the worse run and worse stocked Walmart I have ever seen. Items said online to be available are not on shelf--which is devoid of almost all products, in all brands. This was no better before the Covid. Not having what i wanted at least I did not have to wait on the long lines to check out. No fault to the store, all lines are working. Better shop elsewhere.

Sounds like we have all had the same bad experience with this store. Mine has been with the same employee. DEACON is his name and today was the 2nd time in a month he was rude to me. The first time was the day before thanksgiving. We needed one of the cabinets unlocked in the pharmacy area. Between my mom and myself we had reached out to 3 different employees, none had keys but "would find someone to help" help never came. I approached another employee monitoring the self- checkout asked if there was any way to page for someone to come unlock the cabinet, she said i could go to customer service and ask them. I looked at customer service and responded to her "No, I'm not waiting in line for 40 minuets, why don't you go ask for me" (duh). She did and as I'm heading back towards the isle, I need help in, I hear the page and I see 2 employees WITH keys yakking away and as they started to part ways, I stopped the man and said excuse me did you hear the page, do those keys you have open the cabinet right around the corner here? This was Deacon. He looked irritated and with a rude tone in his voice said "yeah I will be with you in a minute" and starts walking off, I watched him go all the way to the other end of the store. It would have taken 30 seconds to open the cabinet but instead he went to the other end of the store! He NEVER came back and we ended up walking out of the store. Walmart lost $300 that day. Today, I wasn't the only one that needed the cabinet unlocked in cosmetics, a gentleman with his little girls had been waiting before me, asked for help before me. Pushed the help button 3 times before me and help didn't come..so I went looking. I found an employee who didn't have keys but pointed out (Deacon) the man with the yellow vest, he has keys, get him before he walks off. And there he was farting around with a display on the shelf instead of answering the call. I walked up to him and asked if he could please come help in cosmetics and unlock the cabinet, and just like before he said "yeah I will be there in a minute" This time I stared him down and said oh like you did during thanksgiving? He came right away this time. How do people like this get hired?? I didn't bother to call for the manager because I had no confidence they would be capable of taking care of the issue and no confidence I would even get a hold of them. After Im done with this review Im going to be writing corporate. :)

Major complaint about the Oroville California store #1575. Messed up online order. Online order system has major flaws. The substitute of ordered items are not even close to the ordered items. Asked to talk to the store manager and was put on hold. After 25 minutes was hung up on . Called back and was hung up on right away. Finally got to a person that said that was going to go get the store manager and have her (Shena) call us back. Well got the call back and it was still not the store manager. The online order even through the store inventory shows that both the items that were substituted were in stock. Called and told the person that answered the phone the the substituted items were not acceptable or even close to what we ordered. Ordered 5 items total. 2 were store store pick up and 3 were to be shipped to us. As an example ordered 3 packs of 6 - 3.5" wood circles (18 Total) and the substituted item was 3 single 7" wood circles. When we called the store we were told that we would have to cancel the entire order or we had to drive all the way to the store and refuse the 2 store pick up items so that the shipped items would still be ordered. Something very wrong if this way to handle things. Still don't know the status of the items being shipped. Again waiting for someone with half a brain to call us back. As a side note the Oroville Store #1575 has to be the worst store in Northern California. You can't get help anywhere. Have to wait for ever for someone to come unlock the cases that everywhere. Self Check only takes cards and there is never more that 2 registers open to take cash yet there are dozens of Yellow vests walking around doing nothing but talking. The return area has one person while again yellow vests just stand around. Not sure what the yellow vest mean except that they have earned the right to do nothing as far as we have seen. The fact that the store manager or any member of management is not contactable is a major problem. Being hung up on by employees is wrong. These show that the Oroville #1575 does not care about customer service. As a last comment we are still waiting for a call that we were told would be soon. That was 40 minutes ago.

Worst Walmart I've ever been to. Nobody has keys to open nothing. No one works there evidently cause every time you ask for help every employee says"I don't work that department or I don't have keys" Super annoying! Need more employees that can actually work and do their job.
