Called them today, march 27,2024, telling them I need a tooth extracted. They said to come in. They took 20 mins of xrays, then sat me down to tell me I need a deep cleaning and they could do that today. Im here for an extraction. Then told me I need wait till April 29th when their surgeon comes in and that he won’t do it unless I pay 500 out of pocket for a bone graph. If you can’t extract the tooth today, why did you say come in. Scam artist…Why am I here when I want the tooth taken out today, and all you’re gonna offer is a deep cleaning. Why did the brainless person answering the phone tell me to come in knowing they can’t accomplish what I need done. Why as the dentist there do you allow a surgeon come in and dictate extra charges that no insurance covers at all. They’re a scam, they’re honestly racist as well, they spoke to me in Spanish and I told them I’m not Mexican, got the side eye cause I look like I am. Asked to speak with the dentist. She said yeah, then walked out and no one came. I sat there for 20 more mins before asking someone else to get him for me. When he came in all he was focused on was deep cleaning, while I’m in pain with an open tooth there for an extraction they said they can do. I asked the dentist to explain the reason for the bone graph and his reason is im not the surgeon. You’re the listed dentist here scamming patients, you should be able to explain the charge and reason for it.His answer was the surgeon prefers it. It’s a scam. The ladies who work there suck and are rude, one looked like she had a ruff night out, bags under her eyes, talking down to what seemed to be a new employee and reluctant to give me the paperwork associated to my visit. I had to go back to ask for it after I left. This is a dental front, franchised, think about it. Good dentist have their own practices. This is a medical atm for these dentist who suck that hook their lame family and friend up with jobs.Do not go here.

I would not recommend Bright Now Dental for crown work. The crown I received from them lasted less than 3 years. The crown came off within 3 months of it initially being put in. Within that 3 year period, the crown popped off at least 3 times. The 3rd time it fell out, it was lost and could not be re-cemented. The crown I had previously for the same tooth lasted 10 years (previous dentist). From what I understand from last speaking to staff, a dental check up every 6 months as recommended may have prevented loss of crown. However, when the crown fell off in 2021 and 2022, there did not seem to be an effort to adequately identify why this problem was persisting when I brought the crown in during those times to be re-cemented. So, I’m unclear on what the dentists would have done differently to fix the problem during the routine check ups. I understand that everything is not guaranteed to have a perfect outcome. However, I spent a lot of money with this business. I think Bright Now Dental could have done a better job in meeting me in the middle in finding a resolution. A crown that lasts 3 years is unacceptable especially when the customer has came in twice during that time in regards to this issue.

Avoid them! I was there and they convinced me to sign for a dental plan and said it was a one time charge. Now, a year later, I received another charge from them. When I called them to discuss this, they took no responsibility for the charge. They know they are lying.

Dr. Afrooz and his assistant were extremely kind, professional, and understanding of my fear of dental work. The explained everything to me and assured me it wouldn’t hurt. And it didn’t hurt at all! Thank you for a positive dental experience in Oxnard CA!

I’ve been going to Bright Now Dental for about a year and my visits have been nothing but pleasant! I am in and out the office in a timely matter. Any work I need done is done in one visit. With other dentist offices, I usually have to make multiple visits and take time off work just for something simple. I would love to give a shout out to hygienist Akeil (sorry if I spelt your name wrong ?) he is super friendly and always makes my cleaning experience one of a kind. He is informative and does his job well. Please give him a raise! :) thank you Akeil! Also thank you to the other staff as well. Everyone is sonice! I would recommend Bright Now to anyone seeking dental care.

Very gentle and kind. Did not make me feel bad or ashamed about the condition of my teeth. Pain free extractions and root canals. Easy to work with financially too.

I’ve had several dental procedures at the Oxnard location in the past and received great service. Just visited recently for an exam and a cleaning and received the same excellent service. I will be returning for my next procedure.

After picking the Oxnard facility and undergoing a two-year braces treatment, I recommend you look into other options. The staff doesn't explain your options, and the front desk have often made mistakes ranging from appointments to payments. When you make a mistake it's rightfully on you, but when they make a mistake it's also your fault. The overall quality of this office is too poor for the expensive prices they will be charging you.

Do not agree to pay out a dime for medication that is not needed for any procedure you have done. It's optional not A MUST! I will never go back here again for them trying to con almost 300.00 out of me and for 49.00 they told me I owed after a 5 minute dental cleaning. My case is under investigation for this nonsense they're pulling now. It's a shame that I can no longer trust this Dentist and their Shady business deal's... this is very disappointing.
