This Costco is the worst costco I've ever been to. Selection wise, it's good. But the customers and workers are terrible. It's always so packed full you can barely get through the aisles. And don't even try to go to the food court!! We had a worker coming up to us in line practically yelling in our face to "verify membership" and push our cart 2 inches over physically touching the boxes next to us. We let an elderly man go in front of us because he had one item and then she ran over to him and yelled at him to "verify his membership" as well while he was STANDING at the self checkout machine about to scan his card. The other self checkout worker was yelling at her trying to tell her the man's son had the membership card. It was confusing but she was so persistent and rude. Taking things out of people hands so they could show her their membership card... I try to avoid this Costco at all costs but it's the only one in a reasonable vicinity. The car wash is good though.

I love Costco but i cant stand this one in Oxnard Its always overly packed but i understand the reason why. The thing that i cant stand is the line outside in the food court. The cashier yells "theres two lines!" Yet its just one cashier. If there's 12 people in front of you, its now 24 people you have to wait behind. Rather than open other windows/cashiers, they only have one. The other cashiers are closed. Thats just my petpeeve. The last experience i had shoping there was two paisas sitting on the curb near the food court literally asking for money because they just barely arrived from mexico is what they claimed. I felt like i was at walmart on saviers lol I had to report that to the Costco manager to kick them out. Is thats actually true what the paisas claimed, then why the heck would they randomly choose costco and waste their time begging for money which is a 50/50 chance of them getting anything, rather than them actually arriving to the states and looking for work outside of home depot Haha geeez! as far as selection in the store, i love it, theres plenty to choose from. Thats all i have to say...

I have been coming to this costco for many years now! I love coming to costco the executive membership pays itself off if you shop often. I come here to bulk up on groceries and even though I spend over $100+ every time in the long run it saves me money. Their prices do not compare to others on groceries, furniture, appliances, and clothes.I love this location because it also has a gas station and car wash. They expanded their parking which made it better but it is still hard to find parking.

7/30/23: figuring out how to get to the Costco Gas station was bewildering. Once inside the store I happened to come across this USC water bottle set (they also had UCLA). This Costco was really busy for a Sunday 5 pm, but I wasn't in a hurry. And the food court pizza slice to go came in clutch as I went to nearby Malibu for a sunset dinner on the coast.

I have rarely experienced worse customer service. During my 4 phone calls to the service center, they were repeatedly rude and short. When i went to pay for the tires, Poi the technician talked to me like I was 5. He even took a phone call when I was in the middle of asking him for a price break down, which he was unable to provide me. If you want tire service done right, go somewhere else. I ended up going to the dealer where the price was only $20 more and 100x easier to set up. I’ll pay the extra money for a half decent human being and less of a hassle. Poi needs to be reevaluated as an employee. This was not a bad day for him, he was rude to me yesterday as well. STAY AWAY FROM COSTCO TIRE REPAIR IN OXNARD!

Customer service SUCKS at this location ALL he does is to direct you to another number. He says he does not know and he cannot help, why Costco hired you to do the job? IMPATIENT and CARELESS!!

Always use Costco for the good prices, but the customer service at this location is awful. The phone and face to face interactions are the worst I’ve ever seen. Told me they’d call when my car was done and didn’t, I called and they said yeah it’s ready..

Worst Customer service. It took 1.5 hours for tire rotations even though you have set up an appointment online weeks before. Bad management.

I think the service could be improved. Being cordial and prompt to help value customers it is very important. I used to go to the Santa Cruz, CA Costco tire center and it was outstanding service. Oxnard Costco needs a lot of improvements in their tire center. It is always important to always smile and take pride of what you do but especially when you are representing an organization such as Costco, and especially when you buy a set of 4 tires for two vehicles. Thanks

I know Costco parking and inside the store is super crowded no matter what time you go, but Costco is awesome! The store sells items in bulk for low prices. I was skeptical buying membership to Costco because I didn't think it would be worth it for a small family. But even as a household of one, you'll benefit from Costco through it's savings on toilet paper, paper towels, pet food, $5 rotisserie chicken, alcohol, detergent, clothes, cheap gas, and more. My boyfriend (now husband) even took me here as a lunch date to fill up on the sample foods. I feel conflicted deciding whether to feel good that he was frugal or maybe I was just a cheap date?! But the samples were delicious and filling. Anyway, Costco membership is also good for the vision center, which has glasses and contacts for a discount. You can also use it on costcotravel.com for discount vacations and rental cars. I've used the Costco membership to lock in rental car prices before and it's much cheaper than the rental car's actual site prices. I believe you can also save on home and auto insurance, too! What I like about this location is that they have a self checkout area! So I can grab a few items or, like I've grabbed a rotisserie chicken, and then made my way to the self checkout, which is usually not very long. Although none of the lines take super, super long cause the cashiers are very fast and efficient even with people and their carts filled with tons of items. Everyone who works here is very friendly. I don't think I've ever encountered anyone rude seeming, although I'm sure it must get crazy with the tons of people coming in and out daily. I'm sure there are a ton more Costco amenities I'm missing out on, so please feel free to let me know. And for those of you without a costco membership, simply try it out for one year and see how you like it. You won't be disappointed. FYI: You must now have a Costco membership to buy food at the Costco food court! The hot dog/drink combo is $1.50, a slice of pizza is about $1.99, you can buy an entire Costco pizza for $10, and my favorite is the chicken bake for $2.99 (I think). That is dangerously delicious! And there's no longer combo pizza, just cheese or pepperoni!

I'm never using this tire center again, and looks like I'm not the only one from reading the other reviews! After weeks of working with Costcos "claim" center and providing proof of damages, of course they would deny my claim! I wanted to hold off my review before getting the claims center final decision, but I should have already known they would deny it. I've been shopping at Costco for years, been a loyal customer, and this is how we're treated!I purchased a new set of tires for $800 and in return, I got 3 out of my 4 rims damaged by the tire center. What did they do, put the wheel facing down and then dragged the rims?! I understand maybe one rim would be okay, but man, three rims and the damages spread out everywhere! On top of that, how do you get puncture marks on the rim?! If you can't handle the physical demand of the job and pick up a rim, then that job isn't for you.How does the claim center justify a denial when the employee took only four FAR away pictures and I provided several and close ups?! What a joke of a claim process! Costco likes to take your money and not admit when they are at fault! Don't use the tire center or the car wash if you want a damaged car and pay out extra for repairs!
