I've been a customer for many years now, and I have to say the improvements to the facility, its appearance, safety, and stricter rules were much needed and long overdue. It's cleaner, better lighting, and most of all less worries of random people coming around checking out your unit! Thank you Gonzalo, for everything you've done and for all of your efforts on improving this facility! Better Service, and Better Prices!

I've been renting here for over five years and experienced the transition in management firsthand. Initially, I was apprehensive because I really liked the previous manager—she was incredibly kind and welcoming. However, it became clear that her kindness was being taken advantage of.
Since the new management took over, the improvements have far exceeded my expectations. While the new manager can be direct at times, it’s simply a response to ensuring the rules are followed. He makes expectations clear and addresses issues as needed, which was necessary to bring structure and order to the facility.
After reading some of the negative reviews, a common theme emerges—many complaints come from those unwilling to abide by the rules. Claims that rental rates are drastically increasing are simply false. In reality, we’ve only had two modest increases of $10 per month over the past two years, which is more than reasonable.
Thanks to these changes, the storage facility is now a clean, well-maintained, and secure place to store my belongings. I highly recommend renting here—unless you're looking for a place to bend the rules. The manager is committed to keeping the facility in great shape, and I truly appreciate that. It’s unfortunate that previous tenants took advantage of the former management, forcing the owners to make a change, but it was the right decision. I'm very pleased with the improvements and plan to continue renting here.

OK, this is several weeks overdue, Sorry for my delay Secure Storage, but mostly to Brad the assistant manager he’s the one that I talked to on the phone before I went in person and the one who helped me in person as well
First, I’m gonna talk about Brad the assistant manager. I’ve seen his name mentioned by other reviewers on yelp in Google beforehand so I knew Customer Service was great from other reviewers, but I didn’t realize how great until I experienced it. Brad is the best as it gets any company would be lucky to have him secure. Storage is fortunate to have him on their team Camarillo Store is fortunate and we are lucky as customers to have someone like Brad. He’s the nicest, friendly, genuine authentically cares. And when I talk to him on the phone, he was really warm and friendly and professional, and he was also this way in person And honestly, I just felt lucky that he was the one I was dealing with. We’ve all had experiences in different businesses in different industries or the Customer Service is MEH or it can be bad like transactional check collector mentality, but you won’t feel that way at secure storage in Camarillo because of Brad, I saw reviews on Kevin as well, but I didn’t meet him because he was off of work.
Anyways, I’m just super glad that I was fortunate to find secure storage and Brad is part of the management team. He goes above and beyond and anything you ask him whether it’s a question or to do something he has a can do positive energy and an attitude and that just makes you feel valued, and Like hey this person really cares about me as a customer
The facility itself is really nice. It’s huge which I think is awesome. It has elevators that are large and the access hours are great and it’s very clean. Well lit you. Feel safe when you go there and I feel the pricing is competitive also.
Anyways, if you’re in the market, oh I almost forgot they have a wide variety of storage unit sizes. I’m glad I found them.
Do Yourself a favor and check them out and give Brad individual kudos. Give him a raise if he’s interested in being promoted put him on that track. It’s always great to have someone at a company that really has a can do positive and really cares to take care of the customer.

Kevin and Brad are super nice the process to rent a unit was very clear and simple. I put my info in online and they called me right away to let me know they had time to show me around! I rented same day.

My first storage unit ever and Brad made it super simple and easy for me to get access. Did not mind me recording the way to my unit cause I swear I would get lost. Super professional and offered cold water to me in the middle of this heat wave. Thank you Brad! Facilities were clean and well lit. Decent price for the size and was able to take advantage of the 2 months at half price special!
