Some very good events at the Oxnard Canyon. Rio High School Dance show and 2 wedding receptions, and a quinceañera. Very nice events.

Delightful midsize venue for many a variety of performances. Good parking, good seating and reasonable pricing.

Just an all-around great venue to have events. There's plenty of parking and a wide variety of spaces to hold events.

Never been there, brochures look entertaining. I have seen alot of community events occurring at this location. It would be nice to see it open more often with events with big showboard names like Santa Barbara Bowl, Vta Fairgrounds, Ventura Theater, and the Arlington Theater

OPAC has a great supportive staff! With just having 2 huge events at their location within the last 3 years and another on 6/22/24. The staff was attentive, empathetic, and communicative. They were on hands and understanding with our vendors. I will continue having events here for as long as I can. I hear they may have changes coming about, but what they have in place now is phenomenal! Please share with their leadership..

Went for a graduation and enjoyed the climate. I’m a big fan of having enough air when needed. Also the staff/security were nice people.

Acoustic sound inexistent, I wouldn't go see a show with music in it

Wish I could leave a zero. Awful experience. Had front row seats in right pit. About 15 minutes before the show, our entire section was jammed with people from other seats. Security was a joke. 1 guy on each end next to the pit looking at their phone or just standing there with folded arms. The venue was at best 1/4 filled, so it wasn't like there was a massive crowd to deal with. It got so crowded in the pit because everyone was leaving their seats and coming forward. It started to get confrontational. About 20 minutes into the headliners set, we went back 15 rows and watched the show. Whomever runs this place, if you are going to have pit seats, then have your Security clear the aisles every 10 minutes to get people back to their seats. This is how professional venues operate to respect the ticketholders. But not this place, no need to pay for a front row seat. If you ever have the misfortune of going to this place, buy tix in the back row and help yourself to any seat in the place. Have been going to shows for over 40 years and this place was one of the worst ever. I want my money back!!!!Update: Emails from venue management letting me know that I wouldn't get a refund because "I had a good time" moving from our seats 15 rows back and watching the rest of the event. Never mind the verbal abuse from non pit ticket holders and being crowded out of my seats. No mention of the lack of security at the entrance to the pit, no checking tickets and no clearing the aisles. Like I said, buy a back row seat and help yourself.
