Hours: The Oxnard Transit Center is a clean and comfortable train depot with a consistent flow of buses. It is well-patrolled and appears safe, with great security. The employees are generally knowledgeable and friendly, with excellent and informative customer service noted at the Amtrak counter, though one worker was described as rude. A small store in the depot offers amazing coffee, gelato, dessert, and delicious sandwiches. The facility has clean restrooms. Suggestions for modernization include updating the whole waiting area, adding security cameras, digital schedule displays, and replacing vending machines with ticket kiosks. The main noted problems are issues with some disruptive individuals outside and near the restrooms. The service provides a great deal for transportation, such as to Los Angeles.
