I have used Pods for my recent move. The Thousand Oaks location has amazing employees working for them. They are friendly and professional. You can tell they take pride in what they do . The driver Miguel was fabulous. He had such a great attitude and took great care with the delivery and pickup of the pods. You could tell he loves his job. Highly recommend.

This was an affordable and convenient way to move one house to another. I am glad I saw the container while walking in the neighborhood and gave PODS a try. I would suggest to follow their recommendation on how many container you need base on sq footage. It is quite accurate. Tip: stack your items and fill them up to the top of the container to utilize the space.

Attitude of front desk woman is AWFUL. And the one before her was AWFUL. And the one before that was AWFUL. I mean really AWFUL. They are in a service business. Rudeness with a smile. And their rules when they screw up on billing takes hours to fix. And they screw up a lot. They don't communicate, the front desk won't make changes, and if there's a billing issue, like with a credit card, they don't contact you. Better off going to a storage locker and avoiding them. They've gotten sufficiently expensive that it's not worth it vs actual storage lockers.

Called to try and get a simple quote for a small move and was shocked to be treated so rudely by the man I spoke to. Will not call again in the future.

Our experience with PODS was phenomenal. We needed to store our belongings between moves, and we could not have asked for a better solution. PODZILLA is SO MUCH FUN to watch while your container is being delivered and picked up. There wasn't a single broken item in the container upon delivery. Highly recommend the Oxnard location!

PODS provided the perfect solution to store items on my property while the house was being remodeled. The majority of household items were in professional storage without access and I used PODS for necessities and personal items needed during the year of my remodel. I was certainly happy I chose to do this as the remodel took far longer than predicted. Despite the rain we had this year every remained dry and safe inside the pod with no damage.

Their customer service staff is not well trained. They did not follow up with me to resolve issues. I had difficulty escalating anything to a supervisor and was told every time that they were not available.

I experienced the worst and most incompetent customer service division I have ever interfaced with in my life. It took months to resolve a simple billing issue with hours on the phone each time we called to try and resolve. Additionally, we had to interface with an overseas outsourced resolution team that could not only speak English very well, but could also not compute simple arithmetic. We will never use Pods again.

Container delivery was delayed by quite a few days while we have to live without furnitures... Also they charged me like $100 to send someone to open the stucked door of the pods. On the phone the customer service said that charge will be credited back to me but to this date I still haven't received it yet...

The concept was great. I was able to get pods. I was able to move my house. I was able to get them stored. I was able to get them back. Most of that process worked just fine. The part that didn't work was their billing. I needed two pods and needed to order them at two separate times. The pods I needed were to be delivered to the same place, picked up from the same place, and re-delivered to the same new place. Sounds easy. But PODS made an error and charged me for one as a local charge and one as a long distance charge. So I was overcharged. I have called them and talked to at least four different people who have all confirmed that I was over-charged. But after 2 months, I have still not been reimbursed for what they overcharged me. If anyone from PODS is reading this, you are welcome to get in touch with me, because it's certainly not working with me getting in touch with you.
