This rating is for their garden department ONLY. They have hired some great gardeners who truly understand indoor and outdoor gardening. I've had a great experience with all of their employees. Great place for organic soil, rocks and good priced terra cotta pots. Found some amazing deals in their indoor plant area.

Horrendous. Some woman pretended to be a manager and argued with me about a return, repeatedly telling me it was impossible and just generally being an unpleasant person. I found a real manager and was able to get my issue resolved. I called corporate and reported the employee (which is how I found out she wasn't an actual manager). I've not gone back but I sure hope she was fired.

This store needs new management. They NEVER answer the phone and leave you on hold forever. When you go in there, the managers are standing at the doors talking with other employees. I have complained so many times. They don't seem to care.

I'm a little upset because the workers didn't seemed to know where items were located, we couldn't find anyone to help us cut our wooden sticks. Not even one worker would offer to give a hand in helping us cut. Worst experience ever!!!!!!

My husband and I are in the process of remodeling our very first home. We've been coming to Home Depot a lot more lately and before this one incident have had great service and pleasant experiences. We were shopping for tile for a kitchen backsplash we were between colors for an antique white & bright white tile. They had a lot of bright white but no antique white in stock for us to purchase. So we ended up ordering the antique white online for in store pick up. So we can take it home and look at it with our cabinets and decide which one we wanted. We got an email saying that some of the tile we order for in store pick up was damaged during the process and to either call or come into the store to inspect the product and discuss our options. We went into the store, and she showed us one box. We told her since we already know we're just going to stick with the bright white we wanted to cancel this order. She informed us that we couldn't cancel until the whole order was complete (this means I'd have to wait until the rest of the four boxes to come) We waited for the email or someone to contact us about the rest of the order. We decide to call after awhile to check on it to which they said we've already picked up the order. To my surprise. This wasn't true. We never got any email/notification that the order was completed and ready for pick up. I double checked on the app and to my surprise it said "order canceled" . She transferred us over to the manager and we explained to her what happened. She let us know that she could review footage and get back to us in 72 hours. She never got back to us. So we called again and went through everything all over again with explaining how we never got the refund, we never picked up the completed order. She replied with yes I see you on camera opening the box and taking 3 boxes home on June 29. Complete shock! I asked if we could see the footage which she said no we do not show customer footage. How can she see us on a day we didn't come in? Also, why 3 boxes when we order 5. Got charged for five boxes? I asked if we should just come in to the store to figure it out (since I have all the info on my phone on the app. Plus emails) which she said no don't come into the store I will have a second party review this and get back to you in 72 hours. I replied, will we really get a call back in 72 hours? She said yes sweetheart you will. But from her tone it was sarcastic. We never got any calls back or resolution. I messaged the corporate chat and they just referred me back to the store and was no help what so ever. I'm literally in shock about this whole situation. I wish she would've review this issue with a new set of eyes and not right off the bat treat us like we're some kind of scammers or something. We've spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars here and never had any issues. I'm only writing this review to warn customers about their in store pick up I hope this never happens to anyone else. It's been super stressful and disappointing that we never got our refund or call back. But most importantly I feel like I lost trust in Home Depot it's such a shame. So now we are stuck with losing 327 dollars. Which might sound petty to some, but for first time home owners who work hard everyday to provide for our family this was just a bigger hit on reality, and others will not do the right thing . Home Depot manager who spoke down to us and won't give us the time of day shame on you. I pray for you. Be careful shopping here!

In order to get the 10% Veterans discount you have to go on line and fill in a form and upload discharge papers. We went to our local store as neither my husband nor I know how to upload documents. The manager assisted us and said that they changed the method and they could not help us in store. What's wrong with this, you might be wondering, no problem? But there is a problem as that puts more data about your identity for identity thieves to access. So, no more Home Depot for us and we will only go to Lowes which is closer and is happy to assist Veterans. The take away - never provide important information on line. 9the 10% discount isn't worth the potential problems.

I went into the store in search of a shop vac. As anyone who has been into a Home Depot can tell you, it can be daunting to find what you need or to get any help. Today was different. I walked around for a bit in search of my shop vac, when I had the good fitting of being greeted by Ryan. Ryan didn't just say, "Isle 13", he took the time to walk with me across the store to where the shop vacs were located.When we got there, Ryan offered to help locate the best shop vac for me. He asked about my needs and how much I wanted to spend. He was clearly knowledgeable and took the time to share his knowledge with me. We found the perfect vac at the perfect price point.Ryan had changed my opinion of Home Depot in a positive way!

Shawn in tool rentals was a lifesaver! In all my years going to Home Dept, the wood cutter is either out of order or for one reason or another, not able to cut wood. This time it was out again and I ended up needing to rent a truckbed for a few pieces of wood.When I expressed my frustration, Shawn heard me out, asked how many pieces and it was 10 pieces. He made a call, got permission to just cut the pieces. I APPRECIATED so much his efforts and assistance because we were done in 5 minutes and I was able to go about my day. It's people like that keeping me coming back to Home Depot every time.

Got some paint to touch up the walls in my house and got a cleaning kit from ryobi and then When was time for check out it was about 130$ I was damn but it had to get done so I got it you would think they give you a discount on some stuff for being a school employee but nope none lol I tried I always go to Home Depot they should have a loyalty point so you can get and earn a discount

Went to pick up some railroad ties they were already paid for was there for over an hour, and nobody wanted to help bring them out. If they had pointed it out to me where they kept them I would've gotten them myself. Hideous Customer Service!Don't even deserve one star

My experience in this Home Depot Biles terrible I’m on the garage day I needed it so I went to pro service so my company can pay for it the woman at pro service was very very disrespectful I asked her to her phone text my boss she said she couldn’t send it to her again which was a lie. And once she spoke to my boss at the mobile data frame she didn’t even bag my items so how much does it take mine was with me? If you’re going to pro service I recommend you not to get the blonde girl because she is a very terrible cashier pro service

I went into HD to buy some artificial turf. I went to the service desk and asked to speak to someone who could answer some questions about the properties of the different types of artificial turf and the cost of the different AT. I could not get the guy at the service desk to understand that I wanted artificial turf (AT) not sod. Finally I took him to a display with the different AT & he finally caught on that I didn't want sod I wanted AT. He called over 5 different employees and no one could figure out what to do. One of them brought up pictures of AT on the computer screen and asked which one I wanted. I don't know which one I want .. I need to talk to someone so I can ask questions and make a decision. We were going on an hour when one of them said to go to isle 48 and an associate who knows about AT will meet you. There was an associate on the isle .. but he knew nothing about meeting me there. I waited my turn and finally he came to answer my questions. Unfortunately he knew nothing about AT. I chose the AT I wanted and was told it was out of stock. I asked how long it would take to order the turf I wanted. He said I can't order it "they just send us stuff but we can't order a specific item." Eventually, he told me to go to customer service and they could order it there. 1 hr & 45 min had passed at this point. I get to customer service, give them the SKU number & say I want to order 23 feet of the AT. But, the girl had no idea how order it. So we end up with 3 more employees coming over & no one can get the job done. I was extremely frustrated at that point .. I just wanted to buy some damn AT .. why is it so hard to walk into your store to try give you a bunch of money ?? All 5 employees just walked away and left me standing at the register alone. That is when Leah walked over & asked if she could help me. I explained what I wanted. She signed into the register and brought up the AT I wanted to buy. She put in the measurements I asked for and in 5 minutes we were done. She called Kyle over to double check that the measurements correct. Diajah redeemed herself by coming back to the register and stating she had the manager approve approve a 10% discount .. which was ver nice of her. But, the big hero of the day was Leah. She got done in 15 minutes what 8 employees could not accomplish in two hours. Leah needs to be chosen as your employee of the month. I was frustrated and angry when she volunteered to help me and solved the whole problem in 15 minutes. Leah I'd AWESOME and a exemplary employee. Thank you Leah

Still the worst customer assistance by far. Called on a Saturday around 3:00 p.m. for a simple question: if spare keys are made in inside their store and waited on the phone for four minutes still without an answer to that question. Called twice after that and both the doors & windows department, along with some other department called "pro desk" what ever that even means. Both areas also still no answer and hung up after several minutes waiting. Thought the lack of customer assistance was just in person when visiting the oxnard location as expected but it definitely stretches even on to getting answers on the phone.
