I went to Vons Oxnard to get a Sandwich at my lunch break. They do not have a place to sit. This Vons is located in a populated area and there are many businesses nearby. It is not a bad area to set up couple of chairs/tables in Deli area. Also initially I asked the deli staff if they made sandwiches. She said no. She pointed at the kiosk where they had pre-made sandwiches. Very limited selections. Then she walked awY going to the walk-in frig.
I waited for her to come out. I called her asking for salad. She gave it to me.

I am giving the two stars because this is not usually the experience I have at Vons. My family and I are seriously addicted to the carrot cake from the bakery I tried to order one only to be told that they were not accepting any orders this weekend but no worries they have plenty in the case come on in. 3 hours later there were two quarter sheet carrot cakes left at 33.00 okay no problem like I said it's a real addiction. Got it home and it was not the usual cream cheese frosting that they put on this cake but whipped cream. Has any carrot cake loving person will tell you if it's not cream cheese frosting it's not carrot cake. I called back to tell them of my dissatisfaction and hopefully tomorrow Ricardo promises me it will be right. If you have never had their carrot cake give it a try just check your frosting before you leave.

Worst customer service experience ever and the employees lie. Also they have no problem ripping you off. Do not ever get delivery from this awful place. AVOID
Update: received separate email from promising a refund but they never refunded me. LIARS

I had Starbucks this morning and I asked for a croissant and this tall light skin girl gave me a (chocolate croissant) mind you I hadn’t checked it yet. Good thing I checked before I got to my car since I was going to eat it already and I came to discover that it was a chocolate croissant when I NEVER said chocolate!!!! So I went back and his other short girl helped me and she was just going to exchange it and not give me my $.30 back for the price difference. I don’t understand how somebody wouldn’t give me the difference because if I didn’t have those $.30, then Starbucks wouldn’t just give me a go pass for being short $.30. Not only did it did I have to wait about five minutes, but I didn’t get any card for a free pastry Or drink for the inconvenience thanks Starbucks I won’t be back here again.

Can get busy late night on weekends but overall great produce and fresh goods. The gentlemen named Junior who stocks produce is super friendly and knowledgeable. He told me what was in season and what was not. This location was clean and organized.

Been coming here many years Overall pleased when shopping here Would give 5 stars But ... Frankie needs to retire . Never smiles doesn't acknowledge you. Seems to be in a bad mood always . To the point I'll go to a different cashier than interacting with him . If you don't think this is true watch him from a far for 30 min you will see this perception is accurate

Good bread section along with gluten free options avaliable here and also in the frezzer section. I also liked this Vons because its in a good location with a lot of options avaliable. Most of the gluten free products will be in the freezer aisle.

lame. Ordered a cake for my daughter's 25th birthday. My husband specifically asked for a quarter sheet double layer cake. He checked with them twice. What we got was barely a quarter sheet with a single layer cut in half. This bday is special not only a milestone but we are fortunate to still have her with us. They charged more for this goofy cake than Ralphs did last week when I got twice the cake for the same price. Never again cheapo Vons.
