I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I'll admit I'm very picky when it comes to food and very critical with customer service, we'll this place exceeded my expectations! Jose, Dom, Manny, PB and Sydney provided nothing but excellent customer service. They all took their time answering our questions and gave great beer recommendations and food recommendations. The food here is superb! Everything we tried was a hit! I'm not a fan of corndogs but man these were so good I had to get two orders, the dipping sauce was on the spicy side but complimented the corn batter and sausage so well so if you're a fan of corndogs these are a must! The nachos were on another level, the cheese sauce and cilantro crema was the perfect combo. We got an order of naked wings and omg they were crispy and delicious, by far some of the best wings I've tried besides the ones by Dad makes at home . The chicharrones must be made to order cause you can hear the crackle and pop and yes those were so good! The last appetizer we tried was the esquite cauliflower, I was a bit skeptical about trying them but I was blown with how good they were! We definitely would get those again. As for as the food we had the Chile relleno wrap, I didn't try it myself but my cousin said it was a good light meal. The smash burger was another dish I didn't try myself but was told it was a very good burger, I'll be trying that next time around. We also had the pepperoni pizza which was a hit, the pizza sauce was very tasty if I do say so myself. I was exited to try the oxtail and I was not disappointed, the meat was so tender and full of flavor, I only wish they used a purée of mashed potatoes instead of the polenta but it was still a very tasty plate. My salutes to head chef Stephanie, she killed it with this menu! Being from San Diego born and raised I can say this is by far the best brewery I've been to! The beer, the food and the ambiance was exceptional! We're looking forward to our next trip to Ventura to be able to come back here for some great beer, tasty food, and to chat it up with the amazing staff!

Great ambiance, beautiful restaurant. Roller Gardens Beer and pepperoni pizza are great, the crust was top notch. Don’t get the taquitos though, they’re good but are clearly Delimex frozen taquitos. Fries had potential but were served cold. I’ll be back.

Everything is spicy here. Apatizers better than main courses. Sunday Tacos really good though spicy

Dropped by only to pick up a 4-pack to go and was double charged. The guy at the cash register decided to also tip himself $6.00 on my card even after I dropped $2.00 in the cash tip jar. Make sure you check your receipt!!!! Was not even greeted when I was waiting in line to make a purchase and the customer service was awful. Made me feel like why should I give them my business and go somewhere else like MadeWest. What a shame since I like their beer and they are tarnishing the name Wagon Wheel.

My new favorite local treat. Chicken nachos and several fantastic stouts on tap. Several offerings of canned goodness. I chose the coffee stout to take home.❤️

This was my first time here, the menu looked amazing so hard to decide that we had to order several plates to share. Our waiter was super patient and willing to go over recommendations. My frida drink was super tasty with a toasted coconut rimmed glass. The food had lots of flavor and used ingredients well. We left satisfied with our experience, and was grateful to have the chef serve us one of our plates and explain to us her dedication and passion for food.

Ordered to go as my family has yet to eat here and wanted to give a S/O to the hostess Stephanie who was extremely helpful and sweet as she took our order. We ordered the smash burger and tritip sandwich which we gave a solid 8/10 - the orange sauce that came with the smash sandwich ; BOMB! Either way, this review is for Stephanie, if you go there - ask for her :)

Finally, I made it to Wagon Wheel Brewing Company! This brewery has been on my list of places to try since it opened. It's location is unique because it's located under a big apartment complex. It's a new area and feels a little like arts district LA, which we liked. There's a big parking garage that is convenient and easy for parking. There's a coffee shop and nail salon next to the brewery. The brewery's interior design and decor is visually appealing. It is colorful with the hanging flowers and feels vibrant. I loved all of the details of the interior decor and design. I was even impressed at how nice the bathrooms were. Everything was new and clean. We started with a flight so we could get a feel for their beers. I liked both of the hazy IPAs that I got and the lucky joe coffee stout! The golden ale was my least favorite. Their beer is great! We tired their mushroom pizza. I liked the overall flavor of the pizza. I prefer a less crispy and less crunchy crust. It seemed a little over cooked but also just the way their pizza dough is. I would have enjoyed the pizza more if their dough was softer and fluffier. The sheet pan nachos looked amazing when we walked by other tables and I would try those next time. The outside patio section is very relaxing and has a ton of space. There's umbrellas, a lot of tables, and an outdoor bar. It was a perfect setting to drink refreshing beers in. I am a fan of Wagon Wheel Brewing and will definitely be back!

I wouldn't recommend this place or even come back with how rude there bartender is and manager. Food is all hyped up for nasty wanna be Mexican food and overpriced for what u get and no flavor.. if your trying to go to watch any sports don't they don't have tv's maybe 3 depending where u sit... I wouldn't even put 1 star how bad service is. So for a update as to what to specify why service was rude one of your bartender didn't want to server us so she tells the manager about a passed incident that happen with her long time ago and doesn't know both side of the story but she goes with the bartender word without judging us her self and 86 us like they like to say...

Place is big. There’s a varied selection of beer; mostly from other local breweries. Their own beers are pretty good, I’d come here for a beer again. Didn’t try their food, I was there for beer. There were many typical Oxnardians here. Evident by the overuse of, “fool,” by middle-aged men. Like the seagulls in Finding Nemo. I looked at their social media and website, there’s nothing flashy, just very plain and generic.Parking sucks and that is a hazard. A lot of people looking for parking and making erratic moves with no regard for anyone around them. I parked at the Esplanade, it’s only a short walk.Recent:Went here on a group ride, had the blonde ale. It had a nice zest to it. Still haven’t had their food; doesn’t appeal to me. They’re certified Independent now, that’s a plus.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here a few nights ago. The chef graciously accommodated my wife’s dietary needs while preparing two delicious meals for us. Our server was very kind and the ambiance is quite nice. We will be back!

Atmosphere very good. Not pleased that not all dinners were served at the same time. Party of 5, one within our party got served about 10 minutes after everyone. Cook should prep food so all dinners are served at same time.

They should make this place a self service bar and grill. Was taken back by the order first, pay first, TIP FIRST, how was our service survey....all they did was charge my card....? Could be a nice place if they checked on our table (no one came out for table service to get us more water, its hot) . Highly disappointed.

They get 1 star because Google doesn't let me give less. A few weeks ago, I decided to try Wagon Wheel because I like craft beers and non-chain breweries. Apparently, they do not want or need the business. My family and I were there for a few hours ordering food (mediocre) and beverages, and then they asked us to leave, saying we were there too long! Although their beers are good, if you're considering stopping here, just go to BJ'S because you'll get better service. The service at WW was unacceptable. Never again.
