For some reason they have decided it's a good idea to close self checkout on BOTH sides of the store forcing us to wait in ridiculously long lines. And on top of that most of the cashiers move at a SNAILS PACE. ANDA ALOT of items are secured so you have to wait AGAIN for items like deodorant and razors for someone to open the glass, and then they act like it's classified materials having to take it to the front. A lot of us forget we even asked for the items we in there so long. I was in line 32 minutes the other day for 5 items. It's insane. I don't know what's going on in this store , but that is unacceptable. Don't expect a quick trip to Walmart until they fix whatever they have going on in there. Only reason it's 2 stars and not one is because some of the staff is very friendly.

Man. I never leave reviews but I noticed this only had one review with one star. The teller seemed kind, so I was hopeful in being able to leave a solid review. Unfortunately that was not the case. Broke single mom, needing to buy groceries, my 85 year old grandma wrote me a check and mailed it from Northern California to socal. My family calls me Tina. For the last 15+ years I’ve been depositing checks into my bank with the name Tina instead of Christina. But not here. I asked them “so if someone’s full name was Mathew but a check was written to Matt, you wouldn’t deposit it” they both stared, puzzled, and said probably not.Dear lord. Not what I needed for my day. Looking up actual laws, I see nothing that states they cannot accept a shortened nameI’m sure if it said CHRIS instead of CHRIStina they wouldn’t have thought anything. But it said TINA instead of chrisTINA. JFC

It was a Saturday during mid day that I arrived for a quick shopping trip. When I went to the makeup section everything seemed to be locked up. The associate in that area was gone and the other employee in that area didn't have the keys to help and wasn't able to find the other employee. Once the other employee arrived he didn't have the keys to open the area I needed and stated the employee who had the key had gone to lunch and would be an hour before they are back! How? How does Walmart only have one set of keys? Waste of time and very frustrating

2001 N Rose Avenue Oxnard California 93036 Walmart Managers "tony" and "nicolas" very unproffesional, unkind, unwelcoming, failed to properly take my complaint and instead turned it into giving me an attitude, I asked "tony" for his last name and employee id number and instead of proffesionaly, politely, and kindly saying that he does not need to give me that information he instead said to me "your not getting it" and "not getting it" and I told "tony" i'd be contacting Silvia(the head manager) and he said in a condesending and threatening tone "you want me to go get a higher managment?" and I said no and he said in a condensending tone "yeah" and smiled at me condensending, so I proceeded to try to file a complaint to "nicolas" and I asked nicolas if he was giving me an attitude and nicolas said "yeah because your being rude to my associates" when all I was doing was trying to submit a complaint and I asked nicolas to tell me how I was being rude and he didn't and then ordered me out of the store by saying "just leave, just get out" and walked me to/backed me to the exit by walking up on me until I was at the exit as well as pointing at the exit and said "don't come back", very sad, they said "Silvia (the head manager) is on vacation" because that is who I originally asked to speak to and employee "relonda" said that "silvias on vacation" and then she said "i don't have time for this" and walked away, I know for a fact Silvia would have never tolerated or condoned any of that behavior, and nicolas also proceeded to make a comment towards my mentioned wife and kid which is beyong crossing the line.

Waited 40 min after they opened and nobody came, had to tell the old lady in the front (customer service) multiple times that there was nobody there but she kept directing me back, not until I started asking random workers did someone come to the front just to reject cashing my check at the end.

I was at Walmart purchasing alcohol, and of course you cannot use self check out to purchase alcohol. In a Saturday they has ONE actual cashier open and the rest were self check outs. I was having a conversation with a couple in front of me since we were in for a long wait, we both made comments about how we thought they should have more cashiers on a Saturday afternoon. An employee overheard and got a manager who then came to me and asked me if I could keep my comments to myself instead of helping their customers and opening another check stand. Naturally I got upset and told them what terrible service this was. Had security tell me to calm down after being provoked by the manager. Just a terrible experience and thee worst customer service.

BEWARE OF THE AUTO CENTER! I called and made a 9:00 a.m. appointment for tire rotation, headlight restoration, and oil change. I was told they do oil changes on a first come, first served basis. I said OK and that I'd like to do the tire rotation and headlight restoration, and then I'd get in line for the oil change. I showed up a little early. I went to the auto center desk inside and was told to check-in with a technician in the garage. I did, and was sent to an employee in the parking lot wearing a hat. This guy was courteous, but had to double-check a lot with others in the garage. Bottom line - I was then told they do not do tire rotation by appointment, only tire installs, and if I wanted a tire rotation I'd have to wait 3 hours! I said thank you, canceled the appointment, and left. Now, this morning, I get an email from Walmart saying my appointment was canceled because they can only keep them open for 15 minutes. It's like I didn't show up or something! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!

I have a love/hate relationship with this Walmart. I love it because it's literally the only Walmart near my house. Well the only SUPERCENTER. Ugh they need to fix that. I don't understand why most of the items needs to be locked up. Like can y'all just act like normal law abiding citizens and NOT STEAL? Of course not. So that part sucks. Having to wait for someone to come bring me razors or whatever essential item is needed. I'll just drive to Camarillo target instead sometimes to avoid that drama. Anyways, for the most part this Walmart is usually stocked with everything I've ever needed. On a rare occasion, I'll have to go to the neighborhood Walmart up the ways on Oxnard Blvd but eh not often. I've never had issues with returns. Keep your receipts. The staff is usually friendly. Don't be jerks to the staff, think about the people they have to deal with on the regular... I'd probably be in a bad mood too lol. Their produce can be questionable so I'll drive my butt to sams club for that. But for the most part I haven't had issues with this Walmart. It's mostly just the annoying parts that make you feel like you are a criminal :(.

I love Walmart, but not this location on N. Rose Ave, in Oxnard, Ca. On Sunday, 07/30/23, my husband and I shopped at this location. I went into the store to get a scooter for my husband while he waited in the car. We made our way into the store and conducted our shopping. Upon exiting the store, my husband was stopped by an older greeter employee by the name "Manuel." He proceeded to tell my husband that he could not take the scooter outside. Manuel then pointed to the "in store" sign on the scooter as if we could not read. We explained to Manuel that my husband could not walk to the car, that he needed the scooter for assistance, and that I would return it back to him once I got my husband settled. Manuel got really rude and started arguing with us. Reiterating the scooter can not go outside the store. After going back and forth with him, about the scooter, he then said, "fuck you, and don't come back." My husband asked him to repeat what he said. I thought he called us the "N word," by the way my husband reacted. Manuel repeated what he said, and that's when a manager (didn't get his name) walked over to us and asked if we were okay. We explained to the manager what happened, and he apologized for the greeter's behavior while escorting us to our car. I walked back into the store and cussed Manuel out, told him how rude and unprofessional he was, and I would be reporting him to the district manager. His response was, "Okay." Walmart, your employee need sensitivity training and learn how to work with the public. He can't say whatever he wants to say and thinks no one is going to approach him on it.

Seriously understaffed. As if the lines are not long enough if you have to make a return be prepared for about 30 minute lines with one employee working. Intended to do an exchange for another size but decided in line to just return. This is just insanity. Low prices because no employees.

Ordered 10 various items totaling nearly $200 to be shipped to the same address. It has been over a week and most items have finally shipped and some still due. I had one convenience item ( a pail of BBQ lighters) that some local delivery person picked up and then would not deliver unless I personally was going to be there. They originally said they could not find the same address that all the other packages have found, then they would have to coordinate a driver and would need more calls back from me to confirm. Once they knew it was going to a postal annex and they would not be getting a tip, they refused to deliver the item stating there was a delivery problem. The problem is Walmart over promising what they are not willing to back up and independent delivering personnel holding product for ransom (a tip for their own pocket) What a scam and there is no one at Walmart concerned with this practice of deception and refusal to deliver such a simple item.

The customer service did not accept the return of my printer cartridge worth $37.12 nor exchange it. I only bought the printer cartridge 2 days ago. I showed them proof (picture) that the printer's error of the ink cartridge incompatibility. They still would not work with me, rather they insisted on me calling the manufacturer. "If this happen to Target store, I would most likely get a replacement item to show customer service." Walmart @ Rose Ave, Please have a manager that knows how to work with the customer's issue.
