Old man with dementia could not provide customer service. They don't have much to choose from. Go to the other hardware store just a mile up the road for better service and product.

Love the location, esp from where I live. Very good supply of merchandise. That’s where the positive comments end. Been here about a dozen times over a year. Customer service is exactly the same every time. Old clueless men who do not acknowledge your existence and who are severely lacking in customer service. Last time going-needed paint and I brought a paint sample. Stood 6’ away from the guy focused on doing his work. I was the only person there. After 5 min, I said something. He said I’m busy and called for customer service. After 5 more min and no one coming, I asked if I should come back. “Oh, do you need paint?” LOL! He said a few more things including “come back later.” So I went to Home Depot. Parking lot was packed. Got my paint chip scanned and paint purchased is less than 7 min.

I've always received great service here from their knowledgeable staff. They will spend 10 minutes with you to help you find the right $3 part. For being a small store, they always seem to have what you need.

I have never wanted to support Amazon more.
The smallest, lowest-quality phillips head screwdriver, bought in a rush to frantically finish a project on a deadline, ran me almost 19 dollars.
My entire life, I've been trained to run to the nearest Ace hardware store when I needed to fix something. The caliber of employee and the virtues established in the ecosystem of the small, traditional hardware store has been a source of comfort, inspiration, and strength for as long as I can remember, and with the help of the grey haired sages that have adorned Ace Hardware's halls, from the central valley of California to Annapolis, MD, I have put trucks back on the road, made homes livable, and lives better. But after being slapped in the face by the cost and poor quality of goods today, I can say that Amazon has won. Why bother to support small or even large physical businesses when it is so clear they do not respect you as a consumer in the slightest? Your location does not excuse your inflated price, and I hope that as younger generations who can work a computer grow to dominate the marketplace, you are driven to extinction in lieu of lower prices, as the free market should intend.

This Ace Hardware is the place to go for any funky little part you couldn't find elsewhere. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and they will have the part that you need! It's a clean, well-kept store in, let's face it, one of the cutest towns ever! ☺️
