Terrible. I went with 3 friends and a baby, the waiter treated us badly, the food is not good. And they put a mandatory 20% rate for each person. Everyone was looking at us ugly. Totally rude and bad food. They just won't.

Not a pleasant experience, snobby server, average food, mandatory 20% tip. So make sure to dress up, order an alcoholic drink and order something exactly the way it's printed or you could be an inconvenience to the server.There were almost no clams in the clam chowder (not "award winning" flavor to us either), the fish and hamburgers were barely average. We had to ask the food runner to correct many things (she was pleasant). One order was completely forgotten, others were wrong.5 meals constituted a mandatory 20% tip that he didn't deserve, he barely deserved 15%. 20% is for good service, 25% for great service (we almost always give 25% at Texas Roadhouse, great food, great service! Higher prices there but worth it!) The high prices here were not worth it at all.Our server could not even handle finishing up our table even though he was still helping other table and being nice to some of them. He was snobbishly rude.Sorry we were such an inconvenience to the server we will not bother him again.Don't go here unless you look and act high class every moment and make sure to order expensive cocktails right away and maybe you will get treated with some decency.

Beautiful but cozy atmosphere. I had Ukranian Stroganoff & my neice had lasagne. Stroganoff was the tenderest beef I've ever had in a delicious mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoes. Perfection! I tasted my neices lasagna and OMG!! Excellent sauce and served with moist soft mini slices of parmesean cheese, it took delicious to a new level. The service did not match the level of the food, beautiful decor or elegant ambiance. We were served & pretty much ignored. I will absolutely go back.

I wish I could give more stars for service. The owners were so incredibly nice and warm! The food was delicious and we were treated with so much kindness and open hearts. Thank you so much.I wish I lived in Monterey, so I could eat here all the time ☺️

The ambiance is super nice, customer service was amazing. I like their concept, they have dishes from all over the world, I tried their Ukranian dish, very flavorful and the beef was super tender. I definitely recommend!

I have been coming here with the family for about 15 years, and every time we come to Pacific Grove/Monterey/Carmel, we absolutely have to eat here. It is one of our favorite places to eat. We have made the trip from San Jose, just to eat here. Their pizzas are amazing, and so is their "The Greek Feast".

This place is very delicious. I have been here quite a few times. However, I'm writing this to the staff in the restaurant. I am ukrainian and came in today and noticed that the beef stroganoff was labeled Ukrainian. With all due respect, this dish is pure Russian. It was invented in the Tsarist era of Russia. It is good to support the truth, however it is disrespectful to label a dish with the wrong country just to support it. That is hate towards the orgin of this dish and is very disturbing to me as a Ukrainian.

Amazing food. The Paella and Seafood Ravioli were so delicious. Topped off with Turkish Coffee and Baklava for a true international feast! We went there every day we were in Pacific Grove.

This place is either a serious hit or miss every time I come. My parents have stopped coming here all together because my mom is convinced they are racist and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised. The last time they came the servers made eye contact with EVERYONE around them and took everyone’s orders except for us, my family who was already seated. We were clearly upset and so the servers sent their general a manger to come take out orders, by then we didn’t even wanna eat there anymore. Last night I took my husband, (we were both wearing masks because we just came from the hospital visiting my grandmother) and as soon as we walked in almost every server looked at us, snickered and then went back to what they were doing, we were the only ones in the whole place wearing masks so I know that’s why they ignored us. The man told us to sit down by the door and he would be woh us shortly. 20 minutes later the man’s walking right by us, not making eye contact, taking ordering, same thing with a tall skinny waitress. Eventually she asks us what we’re waiting for and I told her, “TO BE SEATED” after a 25 minute wait. She looked at mine and my husbands mask and goes, “You’re not from here huh?” I just wanted her and her snide comments to get away from me so I promptly told her no. Even though I’ve lived in pacific grove my whole life. THEN they brought our appetizers and little plates for us and my husbands plate had dried hummus smeared all over it. Disgusting. Horrible service and they can’t even give you clean plates to eat off of. After spending almost $100 on a plates of pasta and a personal pizza I certainly wasn’t going to tip them with their horrible service. The only reason we went to begin with was because El Toritos was packed ??♀️You want a tip? Serve your food on CLEAN plates, and dust the floor boards, your place looks disgusting and don’t be surprised if you get a visit from a City Heath Inspector soon.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !!!!!. My husband and i went into the restaurant just to have a drink and there was a gentlemen behind the bar chewing his gum and he saw us come in but never acknowledged us. So we sat at the bar hoping to order a drink. There was only one table with customers inside. This man walked by us 4 times, still no acknowledgement or even a i will be with you soon. He then muddled mint for a mijito and he was right in front of us and still nothing. How can someone be sitting in front of you as a customer and not say w ord to them. We were so mad we gort up and walked out. Still no words to us. Whoever you were and treated us like that you need some people skills and learn to greet your customers not ignore them, SHAME ON YOU!!!! I gave you a 1 star because there was no zero.
