It's pretty packed with stuff in here - didn't really find anything we'd want, and some of it was way overpriced. It's dog friendly, though, which got it 4 stars instead of 3.

Absolutely love this store! Such fantastic finds. However ... the prices have been going up dramatically over the past year. I know the pandemic put a crunch on things, but some of these items simply arent worth the price tag.

Such variety! Great treasure hunting. Highly recommend. The second chance is providing employment through a church run program.

Best thrift shop in Monterey. These folks have so much cool stuff, because they're trusted in the community and people make donations to their cause. Great relics, full supply of basic household goods, great price is period everything you want from a second hand store. The opening and closing times are confusing, so I wouldn't suggest going the first hour or last hour of the day unless you've checked the schedule.

Really disappointed with the Customer Service. I Went to pick up the the rug I purchased the next day they were closed. and then the storms hit and we were evacuated four times so I did not pick up the rug. When I realized I had not picked it up. I called the store and explain the situation when you evacuate your car is fully loaded with all your personal items you need to save. And obviously I would not take a rug into a home evacuated due to flood warnings. My house was surrounded by water no access in and out. They charge my card $85 for the rug when I explained the situation all they would do was give me a $50 store credit. They already sold the rug.

When we come to town, my husband and I always make sure we take in this wonderfully displayed thrift store with its friendly staff. The merchandise and pleasant music makes for a pleasant shopping experience.

I wasn't really planning on looking for antiques, but I thought I'd stop in and see if I could find something cool, and boy, did I. The people working there were awesome and super helpful, and I definitely will stop by again.

Dropped off a bunch of stuff in the back off the street. Hit the buzzer to get help and was welcomed by a great crew of folks. Also did some shopping. This place is awesome and it all goes to a good cause.

This is an amazing thrift store with an excellent mission, they support people in recovery, which is something close to my heart. You can find anything here from an antique book to current fashion. I picked up some incredible buys on things like a vintage Bloomingdale's straw hat, and some Israeli designer art to wear dresses and pants. The prices are a bit all over the place but that's OK, the things that I bought were extremely well priced and they have tag color sales and discounts for just about everything, military, senior, etc. plus they give you a punchcard and you earn discounts the more you spend. I wholeheartedly recommend you support this great place and their new boutique up the street past the Goodwill.
