“This was my shopping area growing up here. Most places have changed businesses, but they have 3 places I places I still visit. Stones Pet store (forever), Michael's Taqueria, and Ace Hardware. I love the Mexican food at Michael's, buy home improvement supplies at Ace and Stone's Pet Store, my store for all my critters needs!!”

“Many stores have changed to other brands in the years it opened. The only down sign is the parking. Be careful backing up. People are looking for close parking. I've chose to park father in the lots sometimes on the upper levels. Keep from getting dinged by doors opening.”

“We're really enjoyed our time walking around The Cannery. It had a lot of options for shopping and food to the point. It made it hard to decide where to eat. We also liked how convenient it was to the Monterey Bay aquarium. It gives you a lot of options and things to do when you're down there. Will definitely recommend it to people when they're going to be in the area as something to do.”

“This place was very nice, when we went there was also a car show going on and the folks that brought the cars were so nice! During the road with all of the more old cars owners allowed me to sit in them and take photos. One nice man even allowed me to press some things and move some things around. Their parking is very expensive if you do park in one of the parking garages ( we were there for an hour and it costed us 32 dollars ). There were also VERY large succulents, about bigger than a basketball, and there were different types as well. Since we went on a day worth a car show, there were also multiple different bands playing. This place was also very friendly towards dogs, we brought our dog there and people didn’t seem to care that much. They also had some amazing art gallery’s here from scenery paintings to local buildings and humans( they didn’t allow photos ). There was also a beach nearby that my dog and I had fun. Overall I’d recommend this place to view some local buildings and stuff.”

“Walked from the naval post graduate school bike path to del omte shopping center for an outing. Went to whole foods where my sister in law picked us up. Nice walk. We lived in Monterey from ,92 to 97. But if we ever really wanted to retire, we should move. It worked. Now we can afford to visit.”

“We stopped by Old Fisherman's Wharf on our way back from San Jose. This was my first time here and I enjoyed taking a stroll along the pier, visiting the various shops, and watching the various street performers. We had lunch at Grotto's Fish Market and browsed through the souvenir shops. They were just starting to put up the Christmas tree and had the Christmas decor up, so I t was very festive. While waiting for our restaurant buzzer, we walked down towards the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. It was such a beautiful view!”
