We stayed at Sunset Inn for Monterey Car Week, and would highly recommend it. The standard of service is well above their competition, and the quality of the facility was excellent. Our room was in top shape, with attention to detail in every area. We enjoy the beautiful location near Asilomar Beach, which was quiet throughout the evening (unlike some other areas during this week). They even upgraded us to a larger room after the first night when one became available, without us asking - much appreciated!

what a total surprise! We booked late for Car Week. All I could find is this little inn. I thought, man, I will take one for the team and suffer through this crumby little place but I have a room. WRONG, its great! Super nice guy RISHI at the front desk, took super great care of us. Rooms, large, clean and bathrooms are nice. NO, its not the HILTON but its VERY CLEAN, VERY NICE and I will be staying here again at Car Week. Location is PERFECT. 10-15 min to everything in car week and downtown Monterrey. They have laundry machines if you need them, ice machine at your disposal, free drinks in the front, great service for what ever I asked for. You want food? Uber eats delivers right away. I was extremely pleased and promise you will not be disappointed. Thank you RISHI and your team for an easy entry, stay and exit! CLEAN AND TIDY!

A lovely inn close to the sea at Pacific Grove. The landlord is a wonderful person full of empathy for his clients, helpful all the time and will answer any question. We’re enjoying our stay a lot. I’m loving the silence of that place a lot.

Super little cottage type rooms, very quiet, clean and well appointed. Perfect location to stroll to the beach for sunset or sunrise and easy parking. Lucky to see the local deer wandering about the neighbourhood as an added delight. A very warm and helpful welcome from the front of house team. We will definitely stay at the Sunset Inn again next time we find ourselves in the wonderful Pacific Grove area!

Rishi, the manager, is very nice. The location was perfect for us~ close to the beach and walking trails and the 17 mile drive.
We would love to stay here again.

The manager was super helpful and knowledgable in all things pacific grove. Newly renovated rooms, with fireplace was a nice touch. Will stay here again.

The Sunset Inn is the very best in Pacific Grove! The rooms are pristine clean! The manager Rishi is the nicest person and so helpful! We will always return to this hotel! Perfect location for walking to the coast for a spectacular view of the sunset!

Cutest place with the sweetest manager, he was so welcoming and friendly. Our room was very tidy and the bathroom looked brand new with modern designs and a rain shower, I believe it was recently renovated. The location was also perfect, walkable to different points of the beach. Would come back 100%!

Front desk was kind, helpful, quick and informative! She gave us a little map of what to do and where to go. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was simple and nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at sunset Inn. The location feels remote, but is close to everything which makes it cozy. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. It was fun to see the deer in the park up the street, since it is fawning season. I would highly recommend sunset Inn
