The room was clean and comfortable and towels probably the softest I've ever had at a hotel. However, the lady who checked me in was not very friendly or helpful. Got a bit rude when I inquired about a double charge on my card (which was corrected with a refund). Breakfast...just go somewhere else. There is cereal etc, but no hot foods.

Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Lady on the desk was a little short with us and not the most welcoming after a long drive, but overall was a pleasant stay. Close to 17 mile Drive and Pacific Grove shops / restaurants. Breakfast was limited but nice. A little expensive for a basic motel, but a decent place.

Beds are comfortable, stall showers are helpful for older people, walls are paper thin so high noise level from others, toilet flush sounds like a tornado but a good flush, breakfast is fruit, waffles, toast, yogurt, cereal, packaged pastries, coffee.

Arrived late for check in, still I had to wait because the door locklocked needed to be fixed.
For two slim people the bed was even too small, uncomfortable, made up with very cheap materials and was very very squeaky with minimal movement. Bathroom was very small, almost hitting the commode upon closing the door. Standing shower tiles were broken, quick fixed with ugly unmatched darker grout - looking dirty and even more nasty to step in with bare feet. Included 'free' breakfast was a joke - minimal items, I meant bare minimum - kept on a tiny shared check in- check out office room, almost no eating place. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pretty good deal for the money. Room was clean and TV worked well and had a good selection of channels. Refrigerator was set too cold and froze some sodas, but not a huge deal. The door lock was quite finicky and required patience and finesse to open no matter which of the two keys were used. Other than that, no complaints!

The Willkie Inn Pacific Grove - Monterey was very clean and comfortable. Veronica was very nice, respectful and gave us thorough information regarding our stay. We enjoyed talking to her. The Staff was very polite and thorough in their cleaning.
We enjoyed the continental breakfast provided.
We would definitely stay there again.

The place overall was nice customer service was not the best front desk lady was really rude an does not care about anyone she double charged my card I would never stay here again...

Room was clean , bathroom was clean, bed was soft but comfy, older hotel so you can hear guests upstairs, I wear ear buds to cancel noise anyway so didn’t bother me . Breakfast was the typical waffles fruit cereal etc.. over all fir the price it was a good value .

Dated motel experience in a hotel. Skinny parking spaces, limited. Thin walls. It served our base camp purposes, but that's it.

I am very disappointed with this place, the room was not cleaned well, the sheets were dirty, towels had stains on them, and roaches were walking around in the room. when I told the lady in the office, she kept saying okay and nothing to respond.

Only thing that I was upset about is that I paid for 2
Queen beds and our room was given to someone else so we had 1 Queen bed and pullout that our granddaughter had to sleep
On she was not comfortable at all .
The lady at the front desk was super sweet

Stayed here for one night. This is a good place to stay. The staff was good and breakfast was decent. The room was clean and has a mini fridge, TV, and microwave. I will say the bed was super firm so just a heads up. By no means will this be the hotel you can say was a plush stay of your life but for the price, and location it's hard to complain.
