I saw this brand new hair salon opening up while walking to my workout class. Intuitively I made an appointment for a hair cut. Instantly I trust Marice's artistic ability to deliver the best hair cut and she did. She is gentle, loving and a 100% perfectionist. I am so grateful they are in Santa Monica. Highly Recommend.

Words cannot express how sad I am that this lovely salon is no longer there. Maurice and the entire team were some of the most talented stylists with the biggest hearts. I have been going to Michelle international for +20 years! To family own business they do an incredible job. Very friendly have a great product assortment especially the entire Aveda collection. What I like the best is nine times out of 10 I can walk in get an appointment and be out in 45 minutes.

I live in the Palisades and have always gone to Beverly Hills to get my hair done. I decided to come to Michele Int because it's 5 minutes away. I was fortunate to have a lovely woman named Kinga. She was soooo good. Funny, Sweet and skilled....everything you want from a stylist. I also had some nice conversation with the other patrons who were lovely. Just a good overall vibe. I WILL be back. Thanks ladies!

Michele International is a throw back to Pacific Palisades, from before Carousoland. It truly represents the best part of the Palisades. Relaxed, friendly, beachy, and great service. It is definitely international, my wife and I were in Ireland on a trip. In one small town, we were having a drink in a pub and just chatting others, it came up where we lived. The group instantly asked if we knew MI? Small world we said. My entire family goes here for a myriad of reasons. Haircut,s, blowouts, color, products etc. The bottom line is if you're a local to the Palisades you know and love Michele International like we do. Come check it out,

I made an appointment with Karen to color my roots and a blow dry for today. When I arrived 5 minutes early, Karen was waiting for me. So refreshing as I usually have to wait whenever I go anywhere else. This was my first time at this location and it was such an amazing experience. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Oh, and my hair, it looks FABULOUS. The color was so evenly blended with all the other colors in my hair. I am so truly happy with my hair. I would highly recommend Karen. She is truly a COLOR EXPERT!

I wish I could give Karen 10 stars. I went to her salon in Boston for years and then we both moved to West. Despite a few year gap between cuts in Boston and California, she remembered the wave of my hair and shape of my head as if no time had passed.... I'd never colored my hair prior to visiting Karen in CA bec I didn't trust anyone to make the highlights look real. No one noticed Karen's highlight work except to say, "Wow, you seem 10 years younger. What's going on?" And that's exactly what I'd been hoping for. Karen is AMAZING and layers the cuts and colors better than I could have dreamed. LOVE her work. I travel down from The Bay once a quarter, for a cut and foil that stand the test of time. Just amazing.

Maurice did it again! I had been considering doing something different with my hair now that summer is rapidly approaching and I am always running around chasing cars (car dealership salesperson). On pure impulse I sauntered over to a "fancy" barber shop across the street. Wait was long, and it was rushed job as barber was shoving his equipment (closing time). Wasn't feeling it, dissatisfied with level of service provided and end result. I have a bald line across the temple area on right side. Maurice is off today so I rushed over to see Tara, another GREAT stylist. Well, to my pleasant surprise, Maurice was there! AND did her best to rectify the cut. She took her time, made sure all angles were right and saved the day! I am elated with the work, she gave me an accurate price and most of all, made me feel confident and secure in knowing she is there when I need her to come to the rescue. See Maurice when you need a cut, style, tint. She does it all! And most of all she is EXCELLENT and prides herself in her work ethic and performance. Thank you MARICE!
