The only good thing about this place is the location . I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt after arriving and realizing it needed plenty of renovations . Unfortunately the lady at front desk staff was very rude and did not make us feel welcomed. We asked for a ice bucket and made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience . Will not be coming back.

It’s old, beat up, and dirty. The service is terrible. The north parking lot is where all the druggies and other weirdos hang out.

The best customer service and kindness I can share. Fled to Pacifica for one night on a random rainy Monday in mid January with an online deal (so I'm not the high roller one may go out of their way for to ensure return business) with folks in front and behind me to check in, Toby took a few moments to really make my day. There's nothing specific, it's how she engages with folks, especially a frazzled lady trying to find her wits and car info. You can tell she really is a kind person and a fantastic representative of your wonderful hotel. Also thank you Jane for being kind and helping me look for that stuffed toy. I will 100% return and not just for a night! So where I'm going to be telling my out of town family to stay because if you want to be 30 ft from the beach this is it. Oh and the food is amazing but I will leave a review for them but absolutely the brioche bread pudding with a bruleied banana and vanilla ice cream and spiced pecans is to die for.
Rooms: The king w/ Cove view was Spacious and private and literally next to the water, you can hear it with the sliding glass door closed and it's viscerally pleasing when the door is cracked.
Nearby activities: Nature, local business and surfing among others
Safety: Lots of parking spots so you can park near your room. All the parking is under the hotel and while it is open through pathways I felt secure.
Walkability: Couldn't be better if your next door neighbor was a restaurant and the other one was an art dealer/cafe/yoga studio with the beach a block away
Food and drinks: The hotel restaurant was really good. They have brioche bread pudding with brulee bananas vanilla ice cream and spice pecans.
Noteworthy details: Toby at reception And you know that's impressive because Of all the other details I just listed

Large clean rooms, polite and helpful staff and 2 incredible restaurants on site. Our 'partial ocean view room' had a nearly full panoramic ocean view along with an adequate balcony. We slept with our slider door open and enjoyed listening to the waves all night long.

I grow up going here when I was a kid, I haven’t been here in awhile and it’s going down hill. Lady’s at the front desk don’t care about your concern, and very rude. We put the “do not disturb” sign on the door before we left for the day, they cleaned are room, we didn’t want anyone in are room while we are gone. We were getting ready to leave, walked to the car to pack are stuff and came but up, the maid started to clean the room, it’s 9:30 and we didn’t check out yet. We always have the sign up on the door, don’t come in. Last time we are going to stay there. Bad experience. Not happy.

Unresponsive Manager, or supervisor on dutty, location is a plus, however, no security in the evening, overcharge from original reservation, to fix it, need to call regional customer services. The room Keys stop working one day before my check-out day at 11...requested accesibilidad, and we where placer in almost last room...the place o Location us the best on the área, however the pictures on line is not close to real stage of the building...the Manager did not respond...solved by calling to the hotel chain general services...

Nice food. Good service. Happy hour 4-6 is a good deal. Great view of the little bay at Rockaway Beach.

The hotel was not marked well. The beds were too soft. The remote did not work for closed captioning. The location was beautiful and the Moonraker restaurant was great!
Rooms: The room was large with a balcony but too cold to enjoy it. The view was obstructed by a rooftop. The beds were too soft!

I’ve never had any front desk people be so rude in my life. Called on 7/25/2024 and spoke to two different women and was hung up on both times. All I was trying to do is get a receipt emailed. No explanation on why they couldn’t do it, just snotty comments and then, click. Hospitality is not for them. I think working for the DMV is more their style.

It was cold for me, but the family enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub before our dinner in the restaurant. Despite some confusion at check in, we were pleased with our stay. Can't beat being able to walk to the beach before bed or waking up to the ocean view!
