Just when in to get 10 sandwiches and nobody would help us.
I asked Asian lady with a mask on if they were open and she yelled at me and said just stand right there so we stood there for a minute. Nobody came everybody just kept doing what they were doing. Nobody acknowledged us so we grabbed a couple sourdough loaves off-the-shelf and some package meat n cheese and left terrible terrible customer service and attitude 1015. AM.

I had been avoiding this Safeway after many locals have complained about a variety of problems- But just needed to grab a couple items... The shopping experience was fine, but things went wrong at the checkout. While serving the person ahead of me, cashier stepped out of his lane and sneezed largely and without covering his face in the lane behind him. Gross. Does no one cover their faces when they sneeze anymore? When it was my turn, he did it again! I kept my distance and spoke to Tygarjas Bigstyck who I believe is the manager. When I asked if he would ask his employee to cover up when sneezing, his reply was "And I might as well ask a bear not to shit in the woods." Wow. I was too surprised to reply, but instead have filed a complaint with the County Health Department and am sharing here. Try the Safeway on top of Hickey Blvd. instead.

I have only been in one time to use the restrooms and in that one visit that was only 25 feet from door to restrooms I was followed like was gonna steal something. So now my wife goes in and never comes out happy. The self checkouts are never open and then you get attitudes from the cashier lile they hate their job soooo much and we are an inconvenience to them some how. Soon as we are back on our feet we will shop somewhere more people friendly. It is just a beard people that I am choosing to grow....

9/10 Staff are so rude. I don't not understand why but it's an everyday problem. I wish there was another bigger chain store but might just start taking my everday buisness to Sun Valley. It is not okay to spend money somewhere several times a week and be treated like you are a problem for being a customer.

Pacifica Linda Mar Safeway is still a delight to shop at. This larger Safeway always more selection than the other Safeway's in Pacifica.
