We have a non-food motivated dog and had no idea how to train him given his disinterest in any treats (no matter how tasty). He stayed at the kennel for two weeks and came back with leash skills and sit/lay skills! It's amazing. He also was still his happy little self and was clean and healthy. They took amazing care of him and taught my husband and I how to keep the training up and continue to build on his foundation skills. Such a great experience and so valuable!

This may be a strange review as I have never used Shamrock Ranch Kennels! However, this is a big shout out to Lisa Rhodes who is the trainer. Even though I have not stepped foot on the property, nor my rescue puppy, she emailed me and supported me through such a difficult process of... do I keep her....or do I surrender her to another family? This full blast puppy has severe separation anxiety which is rough as leaving her alone at home was not happening, she literally panics. Lisa, kindly, patiently has emailed me and talked on the phone with me at great lengths even though I am not a client. What a kind and wonderful woman! Who does this anymore? I am so grateful toher. We are still not sure how we will proceed, but if we keep this puppy, she will be at Shamrock Ranch with Lisa. Just knowing the magnitude of her gracious heart is enough for me to move forward.

Our dog stayed at Shamrock for the 2 week board and train with Lisa. We picked our dog up today and wow! He learned so much from Lisa in 2 weeks!! He is able to walk on leash now with out pulling and her training and advice is really helpful! She is very knowledgable. The facilities are clean and the environment is beautiful. Friendly staff at the front desk and they gave our dog a bath and nail trim at the end of his stay- he looks great! Thank you, Lisa and everyone at Shamrock!

Lisa is an excellent dog trainer over the years she has trained two of my German shepherds and my standard poodle each dog arrives home happier confident and obedient and I learn each time I leave a dog in Lisa's hands. The cherry on the ice cream sundae is that each dog Lisa trains adores her. Every person I have recommended to Lisa has been extremely pleased.

Lisa was the best in helping us turn around our stubborn dog! After two weeks of kennel and dog training we have a new doggy . Great management team in customer service by the way and we thought experience for our mochas training was great ! She's a handful for sure but with Lisa's help in training her AND training all of us who live with mocha it was worth it for us. Thanks again to entire team on service !

Lisa is excellent in her field. Our one year old pup is a sweet but very stubborn girl. We had worked with several other trainers before, and though we saw improvement in her obedience, there were multiple things that we continued to struggle with. After 2 weeks with Lisa, our girl was like a new dog. She was much more obedient, and the behaviors we had been struggling with were resolved. Lisa explained her training methods and the requirements of reinforcing that training very well. She happily communicated via email when we had follow-up questions, and she established realistic expectations from the beginning while delivering results. Furthermore, she and her team were able to accommodate our pup at short notice once we explained that we have a newborn at home. I'm happy we took our pup to Shamrock.

Don’t ever board your dogs here. My mastiff lost 15 lbs in a week and they returned with all of her medication. My shepherd developed tremendous anxiety and barks insensately when he’s in his crate which he didn’t do before he spent a week there. My dogs ages were 7 (mastiff) and 2 (shepherd)I did contact management after I picked up my dogs on the day scheduled. I called Michael 6 times before he would take my 7th call. He had no explanation as to why my dogs were treated so poorly. He had apologies only. It’s true that their stay was in 2017. It’s also true that I don’t know what “improvements” you have made to the facilities. However, I find it hard to believe that you have found more capable people in light of Covid, etc. what procedures do you have in place for care for each animal? Have those been updated or managed? My alert goes out to you because if you are capable of mishandling dogs in such a way in the past, you are capable of doing it again.

Thank you Lisa for all the great work you've done with my "Bailey". I was in need of someone special to train her. I am internally grateful I brought her to you and your team. The kennels , services, and training far exceeded all of my expectations. Bailey is not easy due to her size, strength, stubbornness, and separation anxiety. One month training/boarding, and she has made strides in her development I would never have thought I would see. Thank you!

Our older dog can be aggressive so it's hard to find boarding places; I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to board both of my dogs on relatively short notice. The dogs runs are spacious and secure and the staff is friendly and skilled. An even more impressive feat was when my dogs came back home, they were as happy and healthy as when I dropped them off (and with no weird acquired behaviors). Anyone with difficult dogs knows that is not always the case when you board them! 10/10 would recommend.

They ALWAYS take good care of my sweet furry baby. I know she is safe in their care when I can’t take her with me.
