“Such a great thrift experience! Oliver was so welcoming and kind, and the store is neatly organized. Lots of treasures to be found here - and great discounts. Thanks again!!”
“This was my second trip to this very fun & cool store..The first time I went in I was V impressed by their abundance of hella cool merch at a very affordable price point., not to mention customer service was exceptional as well. Today I walked in and was greeted by a dude (playing awesome music I might add) who not
only complimented my hair but told me I was beautiful while I was paying for my purchase.. *sigh*With so many nasty and negative peeps working sales and customer service in general these days, this was VERY unexpected and refreshing especially coming from a cute & sweet 20-something .LOL. It literally made my day! LOVE this little gem of a shop and can't wait to come back ! ?????”
“Every time I’ve dropped off donations the staff receiving the items are always friendly, efficient. The open space makes it easy to get in and out in a few minutes”
“I was blown away by both the quality and prices at this little shop. It maybe be small but it is also mighty! Racks are full but still have enough wiggle room to easily view items and you'll want to look at everything. My only regret was not buying more. Owner/cashier was also really sweet. I'm from a small town in southern Oregon and our thrift stores are 2x as expensive. I'll be back here next time I'm in town!
One month latair...
Stopped in town for the night on my way south excited to come shop again but she's closed until 2pm?! I'm big sad ?”
“Go Goodwill!
I went there to drop off a tower PC computer workstation - the place was busy, but seconds after I lugged it up their entry stairs (parking in the convenient open space in front of the Goodwill delivery roll-up door that serves as a de facto stopping spot), an energetic store employee took half the assembly out of my hand, she led me to a put down place four steps away, quickly asked the obligatory question (no receipt) and I was on my way out to the car in 30 seconds. Great vibe, great service (Salvation Army referred me there saying their store didn't have the staff to handle even small furniture donations).
Good Goodwill!”

“Although, the program didn’t work out for me due to my need for dual diagnosis, I still think it’s a great program. The staff are caring and patient. There are a lot of rules with strict consequences but it’ll help provide the structure and discipline you need. The work program can be a bit overwhelming but it’ll take time to get used to. You wake up at 5am weekdays and 6am on weekends. There is 8 hour shifts/5days a week in which you receive a small gratuity. The food is wonderful and the home is beautiful, well kept and clean. You are required to sign over your EBT benefits to them but they provide plenty of good food and you’ll easily gain healthy weight in no time. Shoutout to Courtney for being so patient and kind and Sabrina as well. The Filipino woman that answers the phone is extremely judgmental and rude. She questioned whether I was “real woman” because my chest is very small. Horrible feeling and it definitely didn’t give me a great start to things at all. They provide transportation to and from work and well as lunches you pack yourself at the house. You’re not allowed to smoke at work but get plenty of free time to smoke at the house. The showers/bathrooms are awesome. Bed are comfy and blankets nice and warm. It’s two people to a room but it’s spacious with plenty of storage. Curfew is 9 and lights out at 10pm. You get coffee in the morning and at work. There are plenty of books and movies to pass the time. Most clients or “beneficiaries” are court ordered. My only hang up is that it isn’t dual diagnosis so there is no mental health services at all and that religion is forced on you from the beginning. You must dress, act, sit and follow all of the captains commands to a T or there will be consequences. If you don’t mind the religious aspect then overall it’s a wonderful program. They have aftercare resources once you graduate as well. Thank you for my time there! I was difficult without the mental health resources but still think very highly of them. They made sure I was taken care of and even provided a jacket when I left. You’ll get plenty of good clothes while you are there that you return if you don’t graduate. Tons of snacks! Only other thing is that they could possible cut down the shifts to 5 hours in order to allow for meetings and classes from more trained professionals without taking away from the limited free time after work. You will be closely monitored but lead well by your peer mentor for the first 30 days. Captain is a bit intense kind of with expectations but is still kind and caring”
“SUMMARY: Solid 4/5 I love the convenience of this little thrift shop along Grand Avenue. Starbucks and all the food places are along Grand, so whenever I'm planning on getting a coffee or lunch in the area I always feel compelled to stop by and skim the racks. I've found a variety of gems all for very reasonable prices (all under $10, with most of my purchases being $5): Topshop cozy sweater, leather heels and loafers, Express slacks, Joe jeans, and more. TIP: while they have a lovely shop and collection on the street level, don't forget to make your way to their basement level for even better deals.”

“I love Salvation Army however, who gets off work at 3:00 pm to donate? I get off work at 5pm. I was able to donate, but now? Who got the Not so bright idea to change the schedule? Maybe start later and close later, or certain days close later? pls give us a chance to donate! :)”
“Came in with my partner to look around was greated by Victoria and Maddison who were so kind and warm when welcoming us in. Couldn't help but hear them helping out another guest and they listened intently and made sure the guest felt heard and taken care of. I'd give 10 stars if i could.”
“Great selection, I always discover great finds but they need to open the dressing rooms, they’ve been closed since Covid and it’s so frustrating I can never try anything on. Please address this!!”
“Best Goodwill ever!! The staffs are so so welcoming and nice!! And very helpful!! And seems they’re happy as well.I love this Goodwill because the clothes and furnitures they have is the best! and very well organized. Even if I live so far from this area this is my go-to goodwill! I travel km away just to get here.Love it!!”
“I just dropped some things off at the Burlingame Good Will. I am so grateful to be able to donate some things and have them go to good use. The people there are so helpful and doing such a good job. They help both us the donators and those who purchase our donations. They often help me get things from the car, help sort them and are really knowledgeable about where to put things. Kudos to all the helpers at Burlingame Goodwill. Thank you for everything you do.”
“A bit clustered in the store. Somewhat challenging to organize. Good name brand quality pants and shirts at great prices. Told that Tuesday discount day for seniors. Not sure of color tag day discounts. Street parking and lot parking I think by Walgreens. Staff is friendly and customer oriented.”
“Update 10/2025…Format has changed dramatically and no longer has the “boutique” feel. Success and popularity I feel have caused this downgrade. Folks are still nice. But the quality and vibe have gone down and the store feels more like an unorganized and ordinary thrift store. I did score a new with tags J Crew linen blazer for half price at $7. I miss the old format and hope management is listening.
From 2 years ago…I just recently got into thrifting after watching YouTube creators like Alyssa Beltempo and understanding more about how good it can be to purchase previously loved clothes. This Goodwill Boutique is in our neighborhood and people “in the know” line up before it opens for the latest stock. I’ve definitely scored by being patient and visiting frequently. Leather boots made in Argentina for $15, a Theory blazer $30 that retails for over $150 new, cashmere hoodie for $30 that retails for $80 used on Poshmark, an awesome midi cardigan new with tags for $20. The folks working there are attentive but leave you to your shopping for the most part. I wish I could try on clothes but I’ve managed. I’ve been thrilled with what I’ve found, and look forward to the next visit!”
“Went here for eBay pickup and was quite impressed with the customer service from online auction, to the phone call follow up, and the conversation had with the employee, Leo. He had the order ready for me to pickup quickly. Positive and professional attitude.”
“I have no issues with this goood will store at all . Easier to talk personel and easy drop in the back of the store person will approach u to give a blue bin to unload ur donation s . .easy in out ….”
“cute little place, quick service. Their target audience is teenagers and young adults. Primary vibe is beachy, which makes sense bc of the location.
If you bring your stuff to sell they prefer to go through your items without you there, which is the complete opposite of Height St 2nd hand stores, which I though was a bit weird.
The staff were nice enough but not the most polite. It is a second hand store afterall, not a luxury brand, so adjust your expectations accordingly. Overall, I think it's a unique little place, and certainly the only one in Pacifica, so I'll be coming back.”
