Not all Safeways are created equal, especially if you live in San Francisco. We choose to shop in Westlake or Pacifica to find an increased selection of products, whether it be better produce or meat. We also come here often when we have a beach day. It's easy to get all our beach picnic supplies here like beverages, snacks, sandwiches and sushi. The sushi department, located in the deli section - will often make simple special rolls for us. My BF's daughter is kinda picky about her sushi rolls and they will make her special combo that she loves. The bakery department makes pretty little cakes, we picked one up for my daughter's 2nd birthday which was a sparkly little narwal. Super cute and wasn't even a special order.

I wish I could give it negative stars. Safeway is never really very good but this one is really bad. I rarely go, but I wanted to get something that they would have that the other markets do not and the lines were 10 or 12 people deep. Only one cashier open. This is not the first time that I've just dropped when I picked up after seeing the line and left. Remember, three is a crowd? Well, 47 is a crowd also. It reminded me why I refuse to go to Safeway. Sometimes I forget and think maybe I'll get lucky this time.

Poor customer service, deli staff is clueless. Checkout line is long and confusing, what's the point of having one line for all the registers? Do yourself a favor and drive to the next Safeway.

The line system is the MOST inconvenient thing. Let people pick their own lines. I spend more time in line than shopping. i refuse to shop there because of it. But, if I want starbucks I am ALSO affected because people don't want to wait 20-30 minutes in line and opt to check out there. Management needs to visit their surrounding stores and get it together. Honestly. It's worth the drive to Linda Mar Safeway, you'll be in and out way faster.

I am a local here in the manor area. I shop at this Safeway every time, unlike the Safeway up the hill this Safeway is way smaller. Before covid when the lines were at the register's they would get in the way the different aisles. I think when they changed the line to a more DMV stile line it helped with the foot traffic in each separate aisle.

Mixed Experience at Safeway, 12 Manor Plaza, Pacifica, CA 94044 I recently visited the Safeway at 12 Manor Plaza, Pacifica, and my experience was a mix of positives and areas for improvement. Customer Service: The customer service at this Safeway was commendable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience enjoyable. Store Appearance: However, the store itself seemed a bit dated and worn compared to other Safeway locations I've visited. It gave off the impression of being older, and I noticed some elements that could use an upgrade. Parking: On the bright side, parking was a breeze. The location provides plenty of parking spaces, making it convenient for customers. Surroundings: Another positive aspect is the abundance of nearby restaurants, offering additional options for those in the area. In conclusion, while the customer service and parking are strong points, the store's appearance might benefit from some updates. Overall, a decent experience with room for improvement.

.46 lbs of cooked and frozen king crab. We've bought some here before and no issues. This time even before I unwrapped the crab, I could smell fishiness. It was bad. If you look closely or zoom into the picture you could see that there was hardly any meat and appeared dry and discolored. Despite this, I placed on a sheet with butter to reheat in the oven. Hoping it'd miraculously change. It didn't. Ended up tossing this out. Safeway should be more conscientious with their "fresh" seafood.

I also think the Manor Shopping Center Safeway is just fine but the parking lot and exterior around the store is truly vile. Can Safeway please take the lead and clean up the parking lot? It especially needs attention under the Manor Shopping Center sign which is a health hazard due to all the bird poop, and often, dead birds. Safeway - be a leader, step up to keep the parking lot in better condition. Your customers and the community would greatly appreciate it.

The store itself is fine but the parking lot is vile. So much garbage in the lot its appalling. Most of it safeway receipts and wrappers from their store (not all of course but the bulk) Safeway makes so much money how could they not hire someone for a few hours a week to clean up their garbage. It's so bad that the local nonprofits do a clean up there. Saefway, please so better for the environment and your community

I get why they changed the line system during Covid, but the state and country has lifted the restrictions! It's time to go back to the old way to line up at the cashiers! This DMV style line up where you have to wait in a separate line for the next available checker is dumb and it makes that line super long and blocks people from getting to the other aisles! Time to change back!

I love the grocery section, but they have the most unhelpful, unpleasant florists I've ever encountered

The Safeway at 12 Manor is the absolute worst Safeway I have ever been to. It doesn't matter what time I go, the aisles are being stocked and blocked. Thanks The produce is not fresh, usually limp carrots and zucchini They don't have sale items in stock. I am told to go to a bigger Safeway because the warehouse controls what they get. This store is 5 blocks from me so why should I have to go out of my way just to get sale items Additionally I think making people download coupons on their phone is discriminatory since older people don't know how to do that
