I’ve used ABF Freight for a few shipments recently, and overall, my experience has been good. The drivers are professional, and the deliveries generally arrive on time. I appreciate that their customer service team is responsive and willing to help track shipments or answer questions.
The freight itself is handled carefully, and I haven’t had any major issues with damaged goods. Their online tracking system is decent, though it could be a little more intuitive and updated more frequently — sometimes I had to call to get the most accurate information. Pricing is fair compared to other freight companies, and they offer a variety of shipping options that work for both small and large shipments.

Awesome delivery by Edwin and Christopher!
They arrived on time and gave me a call when they were five minutes out. They were kind enough to unload the pallets using their forklifts and even helped my contractor’s crew position them properly on their dollies.
Although the dollies broke, they stuck around to help stabilize everything. One of the pallets had minor damage, but that was due to the shipper’s poor packaging—not their fault.
All in all, I highly recommend them for delivering large pallet shipments. Super friendly and helpful staff!

I AM STILL SHAKING FROM THE DISRESPECTFUL AND THREATENING ATTITUDE FROM THE ABF DRIVER! This man was either high, drunk, or mentally ill to have such terrible manners. How can you stay in business when your drivers go around spreading such violence??? I called the office right away to report the incident and the person answering the phone also had a condescending tone. Our complaint meant nothing to them. I guess they thrive on being rude, disrespectful, and threatening.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. AWFUL COMPANY, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. WAITED ALL DAY FOR A DELIVERY THAT WAS TO BE MADE FROM 9AM TO 4PM. RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE TELLING ME THEY WOULD BE HERE WITHIN AN HOUR, STILL ALMOST 3 HOURS LATER STILL NOT HERE. TOOK THE WHOLE DAY OFF WORK AND STILL DO NOT HAVE MY PRODUCT. MOST LIKELY GONNA HAVE TO TAKE OFF ANOTHER DAY OF WORK. WHO CARE RIGHT.

Unbelievable incompetence. They give me a seven hour time window to wait for delivery, but they don't show up because they didn't have the merchandise to deliver. They couldn't bother to call and tell me. They think the whole situation is funny. Now they want to reschedule and give me a generous four-hour time window.Rude, lazy, and incompetent. You have my sympathy if you are getting a delivery from ABF freight.

WORST company!Don't even waste your money on this company. I had a time-critical pick-up scheduled, the driver dropped the ball and never showed up, and now they are lying to me that they did attempt. I have cameras, and they never showed up. Their notes say nothing. They can’t reach the driver.I spoke to the supervisor. She is the worst supervisor. She’s into operation but had no idea about her work. She was rude and illogical and told me to figure it out.I asked her will I get a refund or some credit since it was their driver’s mistake. She straight away told me NO! and laughed out.And now I have to bear the cost since my pallet won’t be on time and 1400$ which I paid to ABF.

Horrible customer service! Don’t recommend this company ever!I have been using upack every month for my small furniture business. There’s a huge communication barrier between upack and abf which happens to own upack. I normally load my items at a terminal in Del Ray beach Florida and gets delivered to Los Angeles. The location at Del Ray is horrible since they literally took two empty pods without notice assuming that it was all loaded and finished. Well it took me several days trying to reach someone at upack to get this solved. I spoke with Amber who is the “supervisor”. She didn’t really empathize with me since I lost money and time having to hire movers to load my items in the pod to realize the pods were missing. We settled to an agreement and she reimbursed me, we planned on another schedule to do the pods to find out the pods were missing yet again. The lack of communication at the terminal location is beyond me. They have zero care of what pods are there. I tried calling for hours to get a hold of someone who can actually help. The upack customer service number directs me automatically to the location where I live and not to corporate. I was then transferred to Neil who is another supervisor. Told me I should go elsewhere since they don’t handle small businesses. Also said that it should only take “1 hour” to load everything in 2 pods. He found no solution for me and wanted to end the call because I was stating I’m a small business. My small business is moving furniture items from across states. I was then transferred to Chelsea who is another supervisor that agreed with everyone else saying I should only be moving household items. Does she not understand that furniture is household items? She stated she’s been there for over 60 years and that she’s never had an issue with customers loading items into 2 pods within 1 hour. I’m going to keep reaching out until I speak to a manager (higher up) that manages all three of those supervisors. It seems all 3 supervisors are incompetent/ lack great customer service skills and communication. This needs to get handled correctly, they also just lost my business. I’ve spent over 15k with them but I’m happy to go with a different company. I had to share this horrible experience because no one should ever have to go through this or deal with horrible communication and disrespect!!!This is a photo of where the pods should have been but are missing. Happened twice with two scheduled dates. Only answer I got from all three supervisors is that I should go elsewhere with my business.

More than a month calling to have my delivery time and day, their answer is "sorry we have to reschedule because we have no truck for that location" or "we don't have a driver". I don't recommend at all!

I don't like the one in Pacoima or the one in N Batavia from oeange because it takes a long time to load the truck, and when they give you the route and bring the pallets over, they don't give you the bill or invoice to see the delivery address. For that you have to see the addresses on the pallets you are going to carry.
