Jack at Open Box/Sherman Oaks medical is a miracle worker! I came in needing a specific type of chair for my disability and he worked with me and my family to find the perfect option. He and the rest of the team are a wonderful example of people who are highly knowledgeable and exceptionally compassionate and I have never had a health professional ever treat me so much like a person before. If you are on the fence about purchasing a wheelchair from here, DO IT! They are the best possible people to go to!

I returned to have my mobility scooter serviced. Once again, I experienced kind, friendly, efficient and expert service. Stephen and his technician were extremely helpful, courteous and professional. I give them a five-star A+! It was well worth the drive. They are the best in SoCal.

My review is based on your customer service and the way I was spoken to on the phone. Rude behavior is rude behavior and there is never a reason to speak to anyone in a rude manner. I asked several questions that went unanswered. In addition if you would have taken the time to actually listen to what I was saying some of the hassle would have been avoided. I have no problem sending pictures, however my issue was in the way I was spoken to during the entire interaction. I believe it is unreasonable to make a disabled person go beyond there physical limitations simply because you do not want to listen to what they saying. The fact that you are writing this says a lot about your lack of compassion and care for people trying to work with you. Like I said you are working in the medical field and most of your customers are probably dealing with injuries etc. compassion and patience are a must!

I have been a client/customer for 11+ years. They have given me great service for my wheelchairs and other durable equipment. They will come to my home by appointment and/or allow me to visit them without an appointment with fast quality service. I will always recommend them.

Steven and his team were great, they helped us get two new wheelchairs for my brother in law. We were able to come test them out, he was v knwowledgeable about each and what was best and he also helped us fix the existing wheelchair. I can not recommend them enough for all your mobility needs!

This place is amazing!!! Recently my grandmother has become immobile/bed bound. I have a bad back so i needed to purchase a patient lift immediately in order to help transfer her to the bed, bathroom and onto her lift chair. I called their store and was immediately helped by Amanda who took so much time explaining my different options. This company really does give you the best deals on their equipment. After writing down the prices of the different models they carry in stock and the electric or manual lifts, I made an appointment to come and see a demonstration. When i pulled up to their GIANT warehouse I was pleased that they had parking in the front lot. I let the manager Steven know who I was and he was immediately familiar with my case which was very reassuring. He showed me the lifts Amanda and I had discussed over the phone and asked lots of questions to ensure I ended up purchasing the perfect lift for my needs. I ended up purchasing the Bestcare lift for an amazing deal! It works perfectly and takes all of the strain off my back. Thank you so much Open Box Medical!! I will recommend you to everyone!!
