The store has an awesome selection of classic video games, consoles, and memorabilia, plus a great variety of trading cards for collectors and players alike. Everything is well organized, and it's easy to spend a lot of time browsing through the inventory.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They were helpful in answering questions and made the whole experience enjoyable. “i’ve been going to this store since i was in high school but i had a really great experience there last november and i figured i should recommend it to others as a thanks. it’s a really fun store, they have all sorts of things and their posters in particular are very well priced, especially compared to some of the other shops on magnolia blvd. the people here are all genuinely very passionate and friendly, we had a really great conversation about george romero movies. i don’t live in burbank anymore so i can’t go back as often as i would like to, but i encourage everyone else to check it out :)”
“I ordered a couple of toys, and I received the order promptly. However when I open the box, one of the toys was damaged.
I contacted the flashing blinking light company, and they responded right away. They was so nice and friendly to deal with.
They sent me a replacement toy right away. Is there such a pleasure to deal with”

“I recently stopped by Barnes & Noble in Burbank to pick up a birthday gift for my daughter, and it was such a pleasant experience. The store is bright, well‑organized, and full of great book options for all ages. I loved browsing the kids’ section — it made finding the perfect present so easy.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe was relaxed, which made shopping there really enjoyable. They also had a nice selection of gifts and fun little extras, so I even found a few things to add to the birthday bag.

“They have books, scenery supplies and trains in all hobby gauges. The books teach you how to make your trains look like they are in a real tiny world. Not just like tracks screwed on a 4by8 piece of plywood.
It's not difficult to create a realistic piece of a world. It just takes patience, time, and practice.”

“Me and my family were looking for an electric car very last minute for my sisters 1st birthday. We looked at Walmart and target all over our neighborhood but weren’t able to get the brand of our liking. I called the stockclaifornia store in Glendale and they didn’t have the same colors but helped us connect to the worker in their Tujunga store. The girl there was super nice and sweet and helped us with our purchase.”
“One of few authentic hobby shops left!! It's rare you find a knowledgeable, friendly and stocked spot anymore. This one is keeping the hobby alive from anything RC, Model, Die-Cast, and accessories related. Their off road course is unlike anything else we have in town, hours of fun for all ages and skill levels. Plus they price match any competitor, can't beat that value. “Any time of year, if you need a serotonin boost- pop into Halloweentown for a spell. It has a delightful array of spooky items: decor, books, fandom bits, and more. And the layout & decor in the store makes it even more fun. There are also a number of really nice items, witchy decor bits, Edward Gorey art, & vintage Halloween things.
And during spooky season, they open their sister store: Halloweentown Costumes, right next door.”

“Bricks and Minifigs (Burbank) is a phenomenal choice for adult LEGO fans and children alike. They have a phenomenal selection of sets both new and old, as well as new and used.
Today I went and picked up a “certified used” copy of set #6256 “Islander Catamaran.” The employees were extremely helpful, and the set was both complete and in EXCELLENT condition. Considering this set originally released in 1994, I am ECSTATIC that I was able to find it reasonably priced.
Bricks and Minifigs (Burbank) genuinely feels like it’s run by folks who care. I have always found the staff friendly, helpful, and informative. It truly feels like they care about both their customers and the satisfaction of those customers.

“Big fan of Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle, but especially this bright easy peasy shop filled to the brim with cute collectibles, fun figurines, plushy things, tea sets, chopstick sets, home goods, posters, clothing, candy, accessories, and oh so much more!Located on the ground floor of the Burbank Town Center just before Mrs. Field's Cookies and Macy's, past the food court and World Market on the right hand side if entering from Magnolia Blvd from the main entrance of the mall... On the left ,if coming from Macy's and the Cypress Avenue side/main parking garage.This store is always well kept and the customer service is through the roof. Some items can run higher than you'd expect but being a specialty gift shop and toy store of sorts it's hard to find half of what they carry at a better deal, if they aren't already the best deal. Definitely prefer coming in and to this location over others or navigation the website which has a faulty store locator feature. Online shopping may be the best for some places, but for TJL in-store and on the floor is what you should adore.Visit the Burbank - Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle... It's super kawaii!!”
“What can I say, I was in heaven. So much comic stuff, figurines, t-shirts and of course comic book series. I spent there at least one hour and I would love to come back for another few. Must visit - no matter if you're geek or not!”
“I went to the gift shop, and even though the store isn’t that big, it truly has everything you might need. If you’re looking for a place to buy gifts in every price range, this is the perfect spot. I bought two pieces of modern design vases, and OMG, the host was so surprised and absolutely obsessed with the gift! They were really happy.
They also had a wireless electronic vacuum for around $99, and the owner even showed how powerful it was. If I didn’t already have a vacuum, I would’ve definitely bought it. Since I purchased over $100, they gave me a kitchen electronic case as a free gift, which was such a nice bonus.
I really recommend this place. The owner was very friendly and super helpful. I told him it was my first time visiting someone’s house and I wanted a gift that looked luxurious. His suggestions were perfect; it was a win-win situation. I even got something for myself, and the host loved their gift. I’d definitely go back there again.”

“Zonko’s in Universal Hollywood?!? It’s the joke shop in Hogsmeade Village from the Harry Potter movies. The window display is super hilarious. It’s has a Puking Pastille girl statue complete with flowing barf. It’s cheesy, funny. Go check it out. They welcome friends & jokesters.
The interior shop is shared space with Honeyduke’s. Right when you walk into Zonko’s, their area is relatively small. It consist of mainly a wall of merchandise and novelty toys. That area is designed in a different color and look than Honeyduke’s.”
“Picked up a great deal on a Japanese keychain here, plus love the Squishmallow and Beanie Babies selection. Wait time to checkout could use a little improvement (I think they need more staff) but I don't feel it warrants removing a star ?”
