I came here on a Thursday afternoon to request coin wrappers for loose change. To my surprise, this is one of the few BofA locations that has ATM's with teller assist, but the exterior of the building is quite dated. Upon walking in, the lobby leader associate stared at me blankly as if I had walked in the wrong building. I wasn't greeted until I was already halfway to the teller station, where she simply just said "hi." The financial center was empty and she wasn't proactively doing anything with her free time, just sitting there looking bored. As I walked up to the teller window, there was a blonde woman with a green blazer criticizing one of the tellers about how her "differences affect the entire team" and stared down at her in an insulting manner before walking away. I assume she was a supervisor since she was standing behind the tellers. Despite these "differences", please don't be condescending to your team in front of bank clients. Please remember that if I sit with one of your bankers and get an email survey, anything below an 8 out of 10 affects your "bonus". Remember. It's all about client experience, which unfortunately this location clearly lacks.

Why are your machines so stupid why do you not only have to put the card in three times to get it to work once but every f****** time you do anything you have to pull it out and then put it back in again three f****** times to do another transaction so if you wanna check your balance yeah f*** you pull it out and then do it again as many times as it takes to make it work for each f****** transaction, inconceivable level of incompetence and stupidity combined. I'm not talking about just today every f****** time you use your machines f****** inconceivable. Thanks for being more than just another corporate a****** thanks for being a real f****** tool on top of it.

Receiving help with an account from ramiero That I had many years, who was supposed to be helpful but was too lazy and denied my request to see a banker for further explanation. I have been in the banking industry for years so am no stranger but seriously I feel bad for whoever owns this bank !!!!!

only one teller! plenty of managers - but only one person able to help out... the online or auto ATM cannot do a lot of functions and really don't offer any privacy and there is no counter space at them to organize anything

I have been a BofA customer for almost 10 years and this is the first bank institution I chose out of high school. Ive built great relationships with my tellers and bank in the Long Beach/Los Angeles area and I've NEVER had any issues within the bank; most matters were always resolved and or the outcome was reasonable because staff has always been helpful period. However, I now reside in palm desert and visited my neighborhood BofA for the first time only to be treated like trash and NO ONE wanted to help for something so minor! I arrived at BofA at this Monterey location on a Saturday @12:40pm & upon arrival I see NO ONE in the front for help inquiries, I see ONE worker assisting a couple and I wander this short hall looking for help to find 2 tellers in the back. You would think they would at least post a sign to let you know there are OTHERS. I reach the teller and tell her that I notice there was only one person in the front, can you help me? My debit card was stolen, I had a fraudulent purchase on it, I deactivated my card last night and all I needed today was a TEMPORARY CARD. The teller tells me she can't help me and wants to set an appt, I inform her I really need a temp card today since my replacement is still en route. The teller says she will speak with her manager for further assistance, a few seconds waiting I walk out towards the front to find the teller and manager and I ask if I can be helped or not. The manager responds by saying "sorry we close at 1pm and our guy is still with someone perhaps we can place an appointment" I tell him no, I need my card today..he replies "we close at 1pm today and we are unable to provide you with a temporary card today" I look at my phone and see that it's literally 12:50pm and to issue a temp card does not take long AND I was more livid that the manager was not willing to help me and make an exception to occupy one of the 4 or 5 offices available. The manager would not help , making it clear that they want to go home. I understand that but the fact you denied business with your own customer says a lot about this branch. they will not have my business here and I hope I get a response from someone with an explanation and hopefully better staff. BofA needs to learn from WELLS FARGO, JP MORGAN CHASE, CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC etc. BofA your branch needs training !!! Also I had to drive to a different city that closed at 2pm for this temp card! The only good thing about this location is the drive thru ATM. FYI There is a similar post to mine, that was my fiancé who was there and was so mad for me that he posted for me but this is MY RESPONSE FROM MY ACCOUNT. My fiancé tells me to join his bank Wells Fargo; to which will just have to happen.

Wish I could rate this place a ZERO but obviously it's not available, I've been with this bank for ten years this is the first time I've been turned away just because the employee wanted to go home already! This branch is supposed to close at 1pm yet at 1245 I was turned away when I need a temporary card today. NEVER WASTING MY TIME IN THIS BRANCH!!!

Only one teller available so I waited 20 minutes in line. Online teller couldn't find my signature to withdraw cash so couldn't use ATM. Hate this bank!

This is the absolute worst ever bank branch I have ever seen. After waiting in line for almost an hour to cash a money order they told me that the only way to get my money was to wait 2 days. Keep in mind I have never been in bad standing and never had a negative standing with my account. The after explaining to the " floating manager" about my account she told me she did. It know how to process the check and the "system" said I could not cash be instead deposit. After going back-and-forth she proceeded to get into a verbal fight with me to try to prove a point she stated I am the only one here and I'm telling you it cannot happen when just two days prior another BankAmerica did the exact same thing she said was impossible and she called me a liar.. Even after stating information about military counts she told me I don't care what you've done and had absolutely no regard. I asked to speak to her manager and she told me she was the manager and I told her I wanted to speak to her superior she said there's nobody can talk to and then proceeded to get the armed security guard outside to escort me out of the bank . They tried to use excessive force when I was actually right but she did not want to be proven wrong then she told me she would call the cops. Keep in mind this whole time everything I do with the bank I pay for customer service I should not have to go through this and I will be closing my account very soon I will also be letting corporate know about their no care attitude towards the military and their absolute disregard for customer service. The bad reviews that you seen on this bank or true and the best thing I can tell you it's take your hard earned money and get the best service somewhere else because you deserve it do not deal with this bank. I hope BankAmerica sees this and realizes they just lost a big customer both myself and my business and I will not be coming back to humiliating bank...

Nice and helpful staff. They have 2 indoor atms and 1 drivethru Parking lot very poorly designed and if u have a large vehicle very easy to hit the curbs because when u have a lot of turns and right angles it is necessary to turn when in middle of roadway.... just poorly designed parking... Teller assists are kinda a pain in nexk and looks like a corporate decision to cut down on costs but unfortu ately too many services req one to go to the counter...

helpful n friendly staff and managers...... rarely a line but not sure what it 'll b like wi teller assist rather than actual tellers.... they have 3 teller assists and 1 regular atm. parking lot is tight n not designed great. drive thru moves fast.... facilities clean. have seen a lot if grime on arms at other locations...

This bank is by far the most worst bank I've been to! I go into the bank and not only is the line out the door every time I go it seems as if they are lacking in customer service! You put these teller assist machines up and take away the merchant line and all you have created was a wait time of 35 to 45 minutes for your customers! Why is there 4 to 5 people going to the back but yet in still you only have one teller at the front! UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Why as a merchant should I have to wait in this line when I am trying to get back to my business!? You all have been such an inconvenience, you really aught to take notes from the B Of A in Palm Springs! Get it together.... An utter shame!

Very nice folks, that's where the service ends. Trying to merge accounts, their rep had us come to the branch to do a signature card, nothing happened. She never recorder the card, doesn't return our phone calls. This is a terrible rep for the bank. They plan on making her a manager, I guess she has achieved her level of incompetence. So she gets promoted. The current manager also had a bad attitude, so you can imagine how the branch operates With the exception of the manager they are nice to talk to, but they are worthless.
