Hours: Comics & Anime is an unbelievable comic emporium and a mega store in the Palm Desert mall, with additional locations in Moreno Valley and Temecula. It is the largest comics store in the inland empire, an 8000 sqft place where superheroes chill and anime characters host meet-and-greets. The store has over 20,000 Funko Pops and over 20,000 comics, including CGC comics. It is described as the go-to place for Funko Pop stuff, with hundreds and hundreds of them in stacks and shelves all over. For comics fans, it has everything they are looking for, with scattered shelves all over the store containing comics that are new and old, slabbed and raw, though some note a lack of quality control. It is a spot for good deals on comics, pops, shirts, and everything. The store sells experiences wrapped in awesome sauce, with cool T-shirts, vintage comics, anime merch, and Hello Kitty swag. It is a large store in a mall that can have kids running around. The owners and staff are very helpful and treat customers well; they will even buy your comics. It is a place to support before Amazon kills all such stores. While it is not a bad place, some feel it is not comic book-focused and is more appropriate for Pops and a few comics.
