Costco had the best vendors and customer service, return policy you will ever find . I much rather spend there , get quality food and a good amount that you can freeze and save for later if necessary. Very cost wise & efficient

Just told that you can't return an item as non-member after your membership has lapsed. Returns employee decided to waste my time because she doesn't want to do her job and they likely want to sell membership renewals. I will return thru UPS instead (already got the label) and never buy a Costco membership again

Probably the cheapest gas I could ever found around Palm Desert area, on a road with the name super funny "Dina Shore" get it? Must be derived from "Dinosaur" lolThe employee here super nice and friendly, also a bit chatty, they would come say hi and talk with you for awhile during your gas pumping time, unlike some Costco locations, they usually don't pay attention on you. Definitely gonna come back for more gas if I travel this direction.

Lots off good wines to try, quick prep appetizers and meals available, and fresh fruits, and avocados (they'll need to ripen for at least 3 days but more like 5 days for guac or toast.) Cheeses are good, too. Ground beef is cheap at around $4.20/lb.. Gas at about the same price, too. Lots of Christmas toys are still available. We always spend at least one to two hours shopping when we go. New things in the clothing area. Vitamins and health aides. Check it out!

Stopped in on a Saturday and it was not as crazy busy as I thought it would be (used to that back home). Was shopping for a tablet and other necessities. Tablet ended up not being in stock although they had plenty of those cardboard "thingies" that you take up front to pay for and pick up on your way out. Told the employee that it was misleading as none of those cardboards should be displayed as it was a hassle to pay for the tablet and then upon pick up not available.

Came here for gas. Like many Costco's this area is quite a mess. Traffic was backed up getting into it, once you got in several of the pumps were not working and there were only 2 pumps (vs 3 like many costcos or some even have 4). It took a while to get gas as we got fed into the line where only one pump was working.Getting out of this parking lot was a nightmare. People cutting through cars, not looking where they were going, the fire truck, ambulance were onsite and it was very busy. Not sure if this is how it is all the time or if it just before the holiday that it is like this.

COSTCO PD/LQ NO LONGER TRYING TO OFFER COMPETITIVE GAS PRICESI've been a Costco member since it was called Price Club. (40 yrs?)For decades Costco seemed to have the lowest gas prices. Since COVID,it seems this has changed for the Desert Costcos at least. Costco gas prices were like their $1.50 hot dog $5 rotisserie chicken. Those things brought you into the store.Look at price comparisons for November 21, 2023 in screenshot. What am I getting for my membership? Costco is supposed to drive good bargains for its members.Costco has chosen the worst time to change their pricing strategy. It's doing this while people are hurting. We need lower gas prices more than we need cheap hot dogs.I've observed for the past several months thatI no longer buy gas at Costco, and I downgraded my membership. Costco's genius marketing team has taken membership a bit too far. I read about them cracking down on people sharing memberships (which IMO seems a bit dumb- they were still having sales no matter who's card it was.)Today I went to check out at Costco with my family, we were all from the same house and all had our own membership cards. We wanted to split the bill and the cashier refused to do it. We were told the exact groceries being paid for have to go exactly to the card holder. Total idiotic behavior Costco!So instead of Costco making $150 from me. The order was voided and we all cancelled our membership. There are way too many stores out there that will be accomodating to the customers. I guess they just don't get it. Sell your Costco stock boys! The ship is sinking!!

Worst experience I have ever had at a Costco. I was treated with such disrespect. Julie was the worst cashier I have ever met. It was after 1 pm on 11/7/23. She had the energy of being rather snobbish to begin with. She had a problem with me and my partner each paying for half of our order each. We are in the same household and each have a Costco card. So not sure why she had a problem with us paying. If she is getting some kind of bad information from corporate, then they have a bigger problem than just this bad cashier. I will not be back. I demanded that my membership be cancelled, and I will be contacting not just corporate but also the board of directors. Next Julie called over what was supposed to be a manager, her name is Claudia, and she did nothing but escalate the situation until I was even more upset that we simply just couldn't pay for our food and leave. Instead she got snotty and cancelled our order. Another reason I will not be back. I will not be treated so poorly when I am spending hundreds of dollars and often. So next I went over to try and get a real manager and I got Brad and to be quite honest, he didn't care about how poorly we were treated either. I know I did nothing wrong as they sold me the membership with two cards to be used in my household and yet they won't let us use them???Again, horrible poor service all the way around and so glad I walked out with all my cash and my membership cancelled. I hope others will consider closing down their memberships too and make a stand if you are mistreated too.Update:Costco had someone call me and they offered me nothing. Said they were going to talk to the employees, but I would bet that will do absolutely no good as they need to have corporate change their ways and how they are telling their employees to crack down on card sharing. I will tell everyone for the rest of my life not to give Costco their business as they just do not care how their customers feel. Shame on your Costco!!!I guess this is how they treat the elderly who do not look as pretty as the blonde cashier who was so rude to the 3 of us.

What can I say about Costco? Who doesn't love Costco? Where else can you get a $1.50 hotdog and soda? However, I do wish they would bring back the carne asada bake.

Been to this Costco a couple of times. In all instances the employees were nice and had a smile. Unfortunately, Don't experience this much at my local costco. Took a return recently, and Michael was scanning the shoes I wanted to return...the only problem is I forgot that I bought them at Sams club. I have both memberships. Even when I realized of the mistake, Michael still wanted to make sure it was infact not a costco item and thoroughly checked. Best customer service experience from Michael! Whenever I am in the area I will be sure to visit this Costco and spend my money here.

I called to make an appointment for new tires.... Evidently, Answering the phones was not what this young man felt like doing... very unhappy... his tone.... His patience.... I just wanted to schedule an appointment.... He said " first things first" "I need the tire size and then you have to come in a pay for them before we schedule your appointment".... Okay, is there a reason I can't schedule an appointment for this.... He kept interrupting me so I'm not sure.... I was hoping to have a scheduled time so I wouldn't have to wait so long in line A few days later I showed up at this Costco....the man behind counter was very helpful.... He came out to my car to verify the tire size.... He did say the tire I need was I backorder... So overall Costco is still the place.... I'll have to keep checking on the tires

This endless waiting in line and standing around to get service in th optical department, and still not getting it, is nearly unbearable, especially since there are no lines at the Walmart Optical Dept nearby. But for my insurer's failure to include Walmart in its in- network list of providers, I would have abandoned Costco Optical years ago. So, if you are a VSP member, call and complain and demand negotiations to expand in network providers to include Walmart. A healthy does of competition may help Costco Optical change for the better.

It's Lobster FLAVORED Bisque. Tried 2 containers. Specks of lobster, largest piece of lobster in 2 containers was about 1/4"x1/8"x1/16". And there was 1. Not in each container--In both containers. Combined. 1 piece of something that could be identified as lobster. There were many specks of lobster, maybe 1/4 the size of a sesame seed. A couple grains of sand size. They just get stuck in your teeth. Nothing to chew. TERRIBLE example of Lobster Bisque. Stay away!

This review is actually for the Optical Dept. They promise your glasses in a week or no longer then 10 days. When I ordered my glasses, according to the lady I purchased them from said my prescription is simple. I guess not that simple, I still haven't got my glasses arrive after two weeks. The Manager Haseena said, I'm sorry the glasses you ordered didn't pass a test they do. So they had to remake them. And she said no more..... Ugh, I had to ask, so when will they come for they've taken over two weeks. The manager then said to call back Thursday to see if the glasses are in. I asked what do I do then, if they say no, your glasses still are not here? She then said well then, I will call you Wednesday to check for you. Against her better judgement. This is unacceptable and they offered no refund or discount for all the wait and problems.
