Always wonderful to visit. Always perfect service. The food is unmatched in quality. Most impressive is that the same folks have been running it for the 13 years I've been going there.Parking: Plenty of parking immediately surrounding the restaurant. On the off chance the lot is completely full (which means the restaurant is completely full) there is parking available in the surrounding shopping center, you'll just have to walk an additional 50 or so feet to get into the restaurant.

Absolutely marvelous cafe. Their coffee is incredible. Best iced mocha I ever had with real whipped cream! Heavenly! They sell all kinds of beautiful French gifts and items here, as well. The food is absolutely delicious; fresh and wonderful. I’m thrilled. Everyone in this cafe was so very nice and accommodating and extremely attentive to your needs. Their pastry and French desserts are outstanding and one of a kind fabulous; you can purchase these delectable desserts to take home. I feel like I went to Paris today and I’m so delighted I will be back very soon. Ample parking and you can sit outside, as well. Plenty of handicapped spaces are available. A must see delightful real French cafe! What a gem!

First time we came the service and food was perfect- the second time service was not so great/ but after todays experience- I won't be returning- service was horrible- food wasn't so good - wanted to take pastries for three neighbors and request they place them in a box instead of squishing them in a box. After I requested the box instead of giving me one of the nice little paper boxes, the guy seemed bothered and tried to put them in a plastic stereo foam box. Which means they'd still be crushed, so why bother. I'll just go to the French bakery closer to my home. Customer service is five stars.

Yum yum yum. Sunday lunch at French Corner Cafe. My Mediterranean chicken salad was flavorful and moist. Emily was a competent and very pleasant server. Many thanks! Hubs had the Benedict with fresh fruit— also delicious. I need to commend a very alert and hard working Hispanic woman who was bussing tables and making sure everyone was happy. Prices are typical for Palm Desert. Around $20 each. A lot of salad choices and large menu for a smaller place. Outside seating is also available. Will return!

This lovely quaint cafe has true French ambiance, and the servers are from France and so sweet! And then their food is absolutely delicious and prepared with care. My husband and I each had a croissant breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, tasty cheddar cheese, and perfectly cooked bacon. It was so delightful. I saw they had chocolate mousse, my fave dessert. So we went back the next day late afternoon and had one of those, plus a chocolate croissant and almond croissant that we shared. Mousse was amaaaaaazing with a perfect texture, and the croissants were so fresh and delish!!!!!!

Ordered the corned beef hash,it was the worst I've ever had, avoid. I guess I ordered an American dish in a French restaurant, shame on me.

At 8:30 a.m., on the 17th of March, this year, I drove to the French Cafe in Palm Desert to prick up 4 large Fruit Tartelette Pastries & 4 Croissants only to be told that "in future I should call & place an order"! I was the only one at the counter & when the man (who was not your typical French gentleman) who waited on me at the counter finished putting my order in boxes, he pointed to the sign on the counter regarding orders & made the comment! I have been bringing friends & family to the French Cafe for several yeas but I will never enter its doors again due to this man's rudeness which startled me & I was speechless at the time which is why I am just now commenting on the rudeness I was subjected to!

Food is always amazing and hasn't failed me. Staff maybe a hit or miss. Sometimes rushed and take a while before returning to table. Sometimes very friendly and super accommodating. Location is good. Loses one star, because when busy the service can fall apart and lose control of situation. Makes sense though, this is a small and quaint place. Otherwise, when not busy always 5 stars!

I only went for coffee and a croissant, hotel quality espresso machine, you likely will get better coffee from a bus station. Good luck trying to find a bus station. I tried. The croissant was heavy and thoroughly underwhelming. The consistency was closer to a wet doughnut, than a croissant. The two items together cost $16. This is not a place for a quick stop and should not be listed under coffee houses. Please note that this reviewer is likely 30 to 40 years younger than most of the clientele at this restaurant. Ok so I gave this place two stars but I'm traveling with this latte and it is just terrible.

Wonderful bistro run by actual French staff. Best baguette this side of Paris. Great selection of classic French breakfast and lunch
