The lady working on Saturday 12/23 gave my car away to someone else. At least give a call to let us know the status. To show up at the reservation saying the car is no longer available is dissatisfaction.Also, when I booked this reservation at 12pm you think the app would let you know they close at 12pm Saturday. Pretty silly…

If you are slightly thinking of dealing with this Hertz branch office, HERTZ DESERT SPRINGS...RUN...RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! I had reserved a month in advance for a multi-month rental of an economy car...a gas I driven car, not an electric car. When I arrived at the branch office, I was told they didn't have a car for me...only an electric car...one that didn't even have an adapter in it!! The manager, Jeremy Butler, was not helpful at all...he was rather dismissive, disrespectful, & argumentative. I was told to drive to the airport (30 minutes away) & see if they had a car. I asked if they could call that office. Here's their reply, "That won't work, because they don't answer their phone." REALLY!!??Jeremy went on to tell me that he didn't have to honor my reservation. REALLY??!!Fortunately, I solved the problem that HERTZ DESERT SPRINGS created. So again, I say...RUN..DO NOT GIVE THIS BRANCH YOUR BUSINESS!

Conveniently inside the hotel but they do not have available cars to provide even though I’ve booked in advance and went there on my scheduled pick up time.

Our car wasn’t on property upon arrival. They then charged us for an upgrade of $57 a day for a car that was available. Six months after paying the bill we got another bill of $52 in the mail for miscellaneous charges! Don’t go near this clown outfit!

The worst customer service ever. THEY DOUBLE BOOK CARS!!!! So, I booked a car to be dropped off at my location, I am waiting for the car and doesn't show up, I call them and they tell me that I have no confirmation of my booking and and also THEY DO NOT DROP OFF CARS!!!!!!

This location has SCAM written all over it. Will not honor reservations and then wanted to upcharge $15/day when the vehicle I reserved was "not available". Based on other reviews this is a pattern the manager follows

Terrible service!!! Booked a rental with confirmation and got to the Desk at JW and they said they don't have any cars and blamed the reservation system. They also said this has happened many times before.This is completely unacceptable. I am off to pick up a Turo rental. Welcome to the disruption of the car rental industry.

This place is a complete joke! I reserved an economy car, when I got there they told me people were late returning their cars so they would have to upgrade me to the next class, at my expense? I will of course refuse to pay and complain as high up the chain of command that I can get to at Hertz corporate...

WARNING: This location does NOT keep enough vehicles to rent out, they will steal your money on their site and tell you they dont actually have anything to rent out on site even after payment and a resvervation BEWARE this location here WILL LIE AND CHEAT YOU and the manager will not help, this issue has been taken up with their regional corporate offices.There is a reason their so cheap.

They really know how to make your trip a memorable one! Very accommodating staffs. I shared I will be picking up my girlfriend whom I haven’t seen for 5mos and German gave me muscle car to make it more special! Really appreciate it. They really know how to make customers more than satisfied!

Absolutely disgusting service and waste of time. Showed up 15 minutes prior to my reservation after making ride arrangements for a rental car to be rudely told my the supervisor that no cars are available. Confirmation code means nothing at all. Website allows for rentals to be booked but not honored at location. No phone number on website to confirm availability. Was told by the useless supervisor that a phone call would have been made to me to inform me no cars are available. When I asked when I was going to receive a call shes said that she was to busy with her . Clearly can not handle her job. stated i would be calling a corporate office or the marriot directly she said “whatever”UpdateI am now at the time my car I never received would be returned and now being charged on my credit card for the vehicle that was not ever received. Absolutely disgusted in this company.
