Really No stars! My partner and I were visiting over the holiday weekend and decided to check out the Macy jewelry department. My partner has been a Macy credit card holder for a few years. He attempted to purchase a $3000.00 Cuban link chain. He wanted to know how much was on his account. The cashier then made a call for him to speak to customer service. Customer service said there was a $4000.00 available. He swiped his card and it said not completed 4 times. The cashier giggled the whole time. She said it didn't go through. We get to our hotel and there's only $500 left on his account. According to customer service, he bought the chain. How, we weren't given any type of purchase receipt. When we spoke to a representative and her supervisor, they asked did we receive a declined receipt. Of course not, the cashier must be incompetent or kept the chain for personal gain. Now my partner is stuck with a $3000.00 charge and no chain. Customer service is ridiculous and to get someone to look into or Investigate is very disturbing. Especially when you're a STAR member. Definitely closing the account whether resolved or not.

Be aware when purchasing furniture and the warranties. The great save warranty rebate was explained that after the 5 years warranty expired and no claims, I would get my money back. Well after 2 days of trying to find out how to do this, I am now getting a voucher back that ($398.)only applies to buying more furniture. Also, I have 90 days to use the voucher, but it takes 35-40 days to receive the voucher!

Shopped here for Christmas gifts like I do every year and got helped by familiar folks like usually. Unfortunately this visit was terrible. I waited 15 minutes for a return patiently and while a line behind me built up they started to place items on the shelf for folks in the line. Cindy assisted with the return she was great. Not my return. I was asked by Cynthia in a very terrible tone for me to let the people in line behind me go first since they've been waiting. I told her I've been waiting before the transaction started and she stated so has everyone else. Thankfully the other customers in line all seen I was there and told her I've been waiting. She decided to argue with me until everyone in line got involved she continued be unapologetic to me and snarky while the cashier run me up. Another "sales representative" with no name noticed her attitude and apologized for her. Cynthia is a foul worker not sure if it was a race thing but she decided to treat me terrible until other customers stood up along side me telling her she's wrong. Worse Customer service ever. Talking to corporate if I can

I had a great shopping experience today at Macy's. Lydia the sales associate went above and beyond. It was crazy, busy in the store with shoppers. She was such a dear. This store had a nice selection great values. Happy to add to my closet!

It depends on location. Santa Clarita has poor house keeping I always find merchandise thrown arround and not place back . Part of this is the customers but the not puting things back is the store. Locations in the San Fernando valley - Sherman Oaks have been cleaner. If you are looking to buy you do need to find a station and then some one to help you. Macy's does provide good value and they always have a coupon to get the best price.

Purchased a suit unfort no one ever approached to assist which would be nice. Very long lines for service not personalized like Macys of decades ago It has lost the glimmer that it once was Cashier was pleasant tho and a tragic color selections of suits you get blk blue or grey if u want anything else you better work to navigate your self out of there So that said there's my review all the shoes looked like there was a mad rush to grab a pair just empty racks So I think next time I'll try another store but I have three stars I was going to give two for the experience decades ago it was five star service I'd predict within 7 years to tenMacys final store doors will close and the store will pass away however one sept you can always get great service is mens fragrance they stack multiple employed on top of each other racing to help you and engulf you in a barrage of fumes to keep you saturated in wonderful aromas from around the globe Nice Frenchy in Versace to assist and ring you up

Don't buy their furniture, they don't service once warranty has expired. Battled with Dorothy at customer service for any name to repair a $7000 sectional recliner in leather. Now I know why they are closing so many stores, ZERO customer service!

So I was happy to go on the day of their sale and I spent a lot of time shopping. Getting exactly what I wanted and trying every outfit on spending about 4 to 5 hours. Then I placed everything at the register. It said someone home knows me there because I buy generally from the same salesman, I said I'll be right back to get things so after five hours of shopping they put everything back that I had chose then the clerk says to me oh, I forgot to put a sign there. How is that my problem I put it there to purchase it absolutely stupid, no one helps you there and you can tell that they're overworked and underpaid and don't care then they asked me if I would be interested in buying diamonds because they are a clerk for diamonds as well and they get a commission I won't ever shop at the store always shop at the store It's never been helpful.

MACY'S PALM DESERT is insensitive, discriminatory, and unprofessional towards people with disabilities... My disability is a hand tremor which is in both hands that reduces my fine motor skills. I've learned to move beyond and become an accomplished photographer and abstract artist. I honestly thought I had found inner peace regarding my physical challenges and sometimes I forget they are there. All it takes is one insensitive and discriminatory act to undo years of growth. This action made me become frozen in disbelief and took away my ability to be able to speak up for myself and shut down the discriminatory diatribe by the Macy's employee. On March 29, 2023 I walked up to an associate to pay for a number of items. She immediately asked "Can you tell me why your hands are shaking?" I was amazed at how brash a sales rep could be and immediately felt a combination of being extremely self-conscious, attacked, and angry. Many responses ran through my mind but decided to keep my cool and not spout off with language that was confrontational. I let a steely look suffice and simply said, it's a familial hand tremor I've had since birth. She obviously was not able to read the glance and pushed further and said "Wow, all your life that is a long time, I was about to ask you how long you've been dealing with it". She still was not silenced by my pissed off look and asked, "is it one or both hands?" I found myself putting my hands into my pockets to hide the tremors which get worse with embarrassment. She brought me back to grade school and the teasing I endured. I gave her an perturbed look. I was afraid not to answer fearing more questioning and in a pissed off way simply said, both. She was not going to stop and instead then said, "wow both hands, was that difficult for you all your life?" I thought about walking away from this judgemental and unenlightened employee but said to myself, no don't let her win! She still continued her evaluation of my physical short comings and said, "I'm into anything medical and like to learn about it all, I like asking questions when I see things". I turned and looked away from her to keep my combination of embarrassment and anger in check.Luckily, finding two price tags on an item stymied her and she had to call an associate over for help to figure out what to do. Though she did not listen to the directions she was given and talked over her associate who was trying to assist her.I was so flummoxed that a person employed by what I thought was a reputable and professional organization called out my hand tremors even though the tremor was not impacting my ability to place the items on the counter. I was mad that I was once again paralyzed verbally when I am embarrassed about my disability and could not find the words to shut her down and stop the banter. I should have told her how unprofessional she was acting and that her questioning any person with a disability about what is wrong, went wrong, how long they've been dealing with it, what treatments they have had, etc, especially a customer is not appropriate and actually is hurtful.Obviously the hiring process Macy's now uses does nothing to determine if the applicant has any ability to speak in a professional and sensitive way towards people different than themselves. Macy's used to take pride in its team customer training but it has disappeared and is non-existent. The Macy's 'Star" has dimmed and is now a "falling star" when it comes to how they deal with customers. We, those who keep the stores open in our communityhave other options for shopping. Those options don't include being belittled, mentally abused, and caused to have flashbacks after a lifetime of working to excel because we are handi-capable! Beware of the falling "Star" which is now Macy's!By the way, the items I bought are being returned (they don't deserve my money after this treatment) so I can have a face to face conversation

I am very disappointed in Macy's. I ordered two identical items back in November and did not receive either one of them. I reached out to customer service and one of the orders was never processed which they refunded me for. The other item was shipped according to their records, however I never received it or got confirmation of it being delivered. I explained to them that we have security cameras at our doors and driveway and there is no evidence that the package was delivered. Macy's is refusing to refund me. I will never order anything from them in the future or enter one of their stores.

If you're looking for a calming shopping experience at a Macy's this location is it. It's not very busy and selection is smaller but you can find what you need. I went for some heels. They always have great sales as well. This store, you have to pay at the cashier which is in the middle of the store. There isn't a cashier for shoes in that department. The cashier was very friendly and helped me save 30% so I opted in to donate to the Hispanic Foundation. You'll find the girl in the Mac area on her phone, as well as security, but they don't seem to have anything else going on. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Review #11 of 100 for 2022.

5 star rating for Lucy Ann Marlow in Housewares! What an amazing employee Macy's has in this employee. Helped me purchase a clearance item and find another one at another store and had it shipped to me. So impressed!!
